Great concept. I Really got dinner vibes going here. My daughter loved it. Didn’t realize how many families with kids frequent here. If you’re looking for date night, maybe do so during the day. All in all I find a new favorite spot. And they’re sweet tea… To die for!!!

The Hype and all the talk about The waffle Bus…is the TRUTH. The food, taste and service are definitely worth coming all the way from Dallas Fort worth. This was a good dinner eatery. We stayed around the block and decided to walk over to try it. The service is self-help as you enter your order in a kiosk. You pick up when your name is called. The service was good. They often made sure to ask if you needed anything. We had the smashburger and a bacon cheeseburger with waffle bun. We enjoyed trying something new. Their fries are waffle fries, well seasoned and fresh. They serve cereal-flavored milkshakes. We were too full to give it a try, but we will be stopping by before we leave. The vanilla they serve is lactose free although still dairy.

Cute place on Alabama row. Stopped in on for lunch our way back home from Galveston. Shared a hot chichen waffle sandwich & strawberry creme brule waffle.. get your own fries though! Also have cereal icecream bar if you still have room left over. Ordering is self service, inside and outside seating available.

Delicous and filling comfort food served in generous portions! The thunder chicken fries are amazing and definitely hit that fry craving, and the chicken sandwhich was also a flavor bomb of sloppy goodness. The sauces are on point and everything tastes cooked-to-order. The restaurant is pretty new and the interior feels that way too, vibrant and new. Lots of indoor seating available which is perfect for groups, and the food portions lend themselves to sharing.

I stopped in to tryout the Chicken Tender basket. It was easy to park and drop in to place the order on their array of iPads. After a short wait, they called my name and met me half way with my order. The chicken was well battered and fried up in crispy strips, not too oily. The were fresh from frying and I dipped them in the hurriCANE sauce. It was tasty and I dipped another bite in the thunder sauce, which was a bit hotter. I like the hurriCANE sauce a little more. The waffle fries are crispy, but a little too oily. I think I will try a waffle instead the next time I’m visit.

The staff was VERY friendly and helpful, the food was great, and the place was very clean. The hot mess fries came in a huge portion so my dessert had to come home with me for later (banana strawberry Nutella waffle sandwich) !
