I went here on a Thursday and it was so chill. So nice sitting outside having a couple drinks, so good we came back Friday. Great music and great customer service. Definitely a good atmosphere between the music and people. The food is just as good too. I got wings they’re probably the best wings I’ve ever had!

Probably not a fair assessment of an establishment as a bar – since we chose a Monday night and didn’t even drink….. BUT

My partner and I came in to get out of the cold. It was warm and inviting, the prices were great and the food was amazing! I had the chicken and waffles. Dee is a great bartender, please come and support this business.

Great place for karaoke, good bar food, and a safe setting and location. Can get a mixed crowd most nights and drinks are well.

They value racist customers. Barb the Bartender and DJ need to be fired. Neither the DJ (person of color) nor the bartender kicked out a homeless man who was belligerent, aggressive, and screamed racist remarks and questions to me for 20 minutes straight. I felt unsafe. I had surgery, was in a walker and couldn’t easily leave. Barb the bartender said that she had a love-hate friendship with this homeless person. She let that interfere with the safety of a customer. She could have just called the police, but didn’t. The bartender went on to tell me that I just couldn’t take the racist remarks to heart, that this homeless man was homeless for 13 years, and believes God works/speaks through him. Newsflash: 1) That’s not how racist remarks work- they go straight to you. 2) God doesn’t work/speak through racist people. The bartender went on to say that the owner is a person of color and that this racist homeless person is not allowed during the day when the owner is here. The owner didn’t care for his racist remarks. If it is not fair for the owner to be around racist remarks, it is not fair for customers, either.

As a girl who grew up in the south, fried chicken is important! The skin on the boneless wings is crispy and works well with any sauce provided. The chicken is cooked well, and isn’t gummy like many other places I have been too. Managers and staff are super friendly! Will come back again!!

Simple menu bar and grill filling the former Silkys location. Simple, low cost menu focused on sandwiches salads and bar appetizers. Wings are available whole, cut in fried or grilled with a choice of sauce.

Nice local spot with great bar service! Never too crowded but still maintains a lively energy. Music can be too loud at times.

The light skinned female, behind the bar, the day I went, had a very nasty disposition. She was either the owner or one of the owners because of the conversations I was overhearing. She kept talking to another customer about how buying that bar was a bad business decision and how the community never really wanted a black-owned bar in the neighborhood and how they were going to be closing for good soon. …She wasn’t friendly or welcoming. Almost like she was bothered by my presence. The very first thing she said to me was “WHAT?!”, when I politely asked her if they had wings. The mixed drinks are weak. Buy shots if u go here. . The alcoholic slushees taste funny and I can almost guarantee you that there’s not a lick of alcohol in them. The chicken wings were the only good part of my experience. They were very crispy and well done. I got garlic parmesan. The cook was kind of stingy with the garlic parm, tho. I try to support black business, but I won’t go back here.
