G-R-I-M-Y!!! Went there on perfect summer day to sit by the water for happy hour, which my girlfriend called to confirm prior. After enjoying a few drinks & appetizers by Moriches Bay, we received a full price bill when the menu said 5$ drinks & appetizers from 3:30 to 6:30. When we inquired about the mistake, we were told happy hour only applies to the bar (of which only the inside bar was open, not the outside). I’ve been to many happy hours & have never heard of such a thing. The bartender showed us a menu that said @ bar & weekdays only (which it was Wednesday). The the menu we had said weekdays only. They’re scam artists!

Been going there for a long time and always enjoyed it. Today was different, though. As always, the food was good. not their best, but still really good. The problem? It took one and a half hours to bring it out. We got there at 6:10pm. We ordered by 6:25pm. My dad was the only person who ordered appetizers. Those came out at 7:10pm. Our food didn’t come out until 7:55pm!!! Between 7:10pm and 7:55pm, our waitress didn’t check on us once. None of us got drink refills, she didn’t tell us there was a delay… nothing. They got rid of all the experienced wait staff and replaced them with cute young girls in tight outfits. Sorry, but that doesn’t make up for the ridiculous wait time and lack of attention. Not to mention, they didn’t even apologize for any of it nor did they comp a single thing on the bill. Never going back there again.

The music was way too loud, the food was good but having to wait for an hour and twenty minutes for food and we are still waiting on the side salad. Tried to talk to the manager but he showed total indifference. I felt sorry for the waitress, obviously under pressure but got no support from the manager.

Heard of this place for years with rave reviews. It was ok. Server was nice but not very efficient and disappeared between serving appetizers and main. Over priced shrimp cocktail was ok not worth it. Calamari was good as well as soft-shell crab. Doesn’t look like management is in the house.

I had a terrible experience here. Beautiful location, but HORRIBLE service. Myself and my grandfather had an entire salad WITH balsamic dressing dumped onto us, it covered my head and was down my back, curtesy of my waitress. My hair and dress were covered in carrots, lettuce, and balsamic vinegarette. When I returned from the bathroom after attempting to clean myself, mind you the smell of balsamic and stains on my dress still remain, the waitress was walking torwards me to the kitchen and laughed out an “I’m sorry.” As I returned to the table my chair was STILL covered in dressing and salad, and the floor as well. I waited two minutes and when still, no one made an attempt to the clean the mess, I got myself a new chair and had to ask another lady to clean the floor. The other waitress came over with an attitude and barely cleaned the mess. I concluded the dinner with dressing and lettuce still on the floor beneath me. When finally my dinner came out, the steak was overcooked to a medium well when I had ordered medium rare. I sent it back and complained. The waitress came back out with a Snide comment from the chef asking if I wanted it cooked more and that this Steak that was brown all the way through was medium rare. Finally, after another twenty minutes I received a new steak that was done correctly. Yet, as all of this is happening my uncle, who had ordered a Mahi Mahi had his ordered forgotten about, so his came out another 20 minutes later as well. My grandfather also complained that his fried clams were unedible, and so hard he could not eat them. As dinner came to an end, the owner came over asking what the issues were and apologizing. He offered to pay for the drinks on our tab to compensate for our bad experience. The owner then came back exclaiming that our drink tab was over $100 and he simply could not pay it, there were thirteen of us, making this tab no where near unreasonable. He said he would take $50 off. When we received the bill there was no discount. We said something, the waitress, being very rude, fought with us for 10 minutes trying to tell us there was a discount. Finally, after getting enough BS from this place, we paid and left. I will never eat here again. Not only was the service terrible, the management was unprofessional, and their errors were unacceptable. This is the worst dining experience I have ever had, and the way these errors were handled was even worse.

Amazing views, great food, BUT the service was not good!!! Note to Management/Ownership, you are potentially sitting on a Gold Mind, but I would carefully pay attention to your reviews about your servers (TRENDING). Everything must be in harmony, and your staff isn’t. Either train harder, or cut your losses. Wish you luck!!

I have been to restaurant a few times before last night and had a good experience. Last night I brought friends with me and it was awful. The music was so loud you couldn’t even talk at table . Sounded like we were at a club then a restaurant. The wait staff is very young and our waiter had no clue what he was doing. I won’t be going back.

We try going to the restaurant every summer & it never fails to disappoint!!! The food is not horrible but certainly not great. The service is so horrible. We love the location great setting on Moriches bay could be an awesome restaurant…….it’s very sad that they just can’t get it together. We have maybe two water front restaurants to go to by boat & this could be so much better……

Stopped by for lunch yesterday with 2 friends. Quality of food was excellent, 44.00 for 3 people was undeniably incredible considering, it appeared as if it were more expensive, nice, clean and convenient. Great place to stop by boat, jetski or car!

Beautiful spot with horrible service. We have been here twice, and twice let down by the untrained, slow staff. Prepare to be ignored, or at best waiting and waiting and waiting for every single step of a normal dining experience. But a beautiful spot…
