Water’s Edge is fabulous! The space is warm and inviting for couples, families and larger parties. There’s an outdoor patio for warm weather dining, too. We sat at the bar, and Rob took amazing care of us. He was so friendly and attentive. His recommendations were spot on. They have a great and varied wine list. We shared the rich and delicious crab and smokey Gouda fondue to start. My husband then had the steak burger which was incredibly juicy and flavorful. My seared Chilean sea bass entree was expertly prepared and one of the best I’ve had anywhere! We finished with the scrumptious white chocolate and berry mousse tart. Our whole experience was perfect from beginning to end, and we can’t wait to return! It’s truly one of the best restaurants in the Poconos!

The black bean soup was VERY salty, and took a really long time. The bartender was not extremely busy, but frazzled. A woman at the bar was told he would be right with her twice and yet he he did not. She ended up leaving. The signature cocktails ($16) were good, but not prepared as described in the menu, no froth. When asked about a zinfandel, we were told they really only had one that was so-so. Then we saw more on the menu. We had to wait to see if we could sit at the bar. Apparently they take dinner reservations for bar seating. The bar area is in the restaurant, the tv with sports over the bar is inappropriate as it takes away from the ambiance they are trying to create. I don’t know if I’ll be back.

The Water’s Edge has quickly become one of my favorite places in the Poconos. The food is superb, and the service is exceptional, especially at the bar. You can cozy up for some excellent cocktails courtesy of Rob, your friendly neighborhood barkeep. Trust me, he will not steer you wrong. Very attentive, knowledgeable, and always greets you with a smile. This place is definitely worth a visit and perhaps I’ll see you there. Cheers!

While away for work I came across this restaurant. When I arrived I parked in their private lot. I walked in and was greeted. The restaurant was super cute and had a lakeside view. I decided to sit at the bar and Rob was my bartender and he was excellent. I started with a lemon drop martini and at first it was sour but Rob made it better for me. I had the mussels for appetizers and they were so good. The flavor and the broth were so good. I then had the shrimp and gnocchi entrée and that was just ok. The flavor was ok, nothing to jump up and down about. All in all the service was great and the food was good.

I went there during my stay at the property. The restaurant is quite popular in the area. They have an extensive bar and food menu. They also offer a seven course buffet. I went with al a carte. The service was one of the best I have seen in recent times. Food was good. Must try the desserts they are the show stoppers.

This was our first time here. Very clean establishment. The service was amazing, everyone was very friendly. The atmosphere was welcoming and very relaxing. We tried the six course chef’s tasting and it was absolutely the best!! Its recommended to try! It’s worth it!! Every tasting was beautifully made and the food was extremely tasty!! We were pleasantly satisfied when we left. Thanks to all the staff especially, Erin (waitress) for making sure we had a wonderful experience at this beautiful place. We will definitely be returning again this year.

We had a great experience at The Water’s Edge! We ate at the bar section and had the pleasure of meeting Rob, the bar tender there. He was amazing—he made excellent recommendations, was very friendly, and offered great opinions. The venison was spectacular, as was the peanut butter old fashioned drink. The duck was very well prepared and the chocolate cake was decadent. We were very impressed and hope to make a return trip one day!
