The atmosphere is great, but the food and the service was less than impressive. We arrived on time for our reservation and we actually were the first group in the restaurant. Others who arrived later than us, received their meals before we did and when it was brought to the staffs attention we were informed they were behind in the kitchen. In addition to this, one of our meals was not cooked. Although they took the meal back and apologized for the uncooked meal I was less then impressed how all of these things were just pushed under the rug when they were brought up to staff. Hopefully this was a one time incident, but honestly I would not be rushing back.

There are different experiences to be had here, all of which are great. Chefs table/menu – 5 courses. Gazebos for family sized parties overlooking a portion of the farm. And my personal favorite – Arriving early for first sitting – alla carte menu – at the open air picnic tables w/shared seating. Service and food have been 100% for me each of my 5 visits over the past 3 years.

Last night we had a wonderful celebration meal with 3 good friends. It was my 3rd time eating at “the well” and I have to say each time has been a fantastic meal. The super fresh farm to table ingredients can’t be beat, quality culinary craftsmanship , attention to detail, and the plating were stand out if not stellar. My greatest appreciation for this place is their general willingness to happily work with food restrictions. I am always nervous when eating out that my food needs make me seem high maintenance and difficult. The waitstaff made me feel like the modifications I needed were no big deal. Which made my dining experience even more of a pleasure. *Celiac and Keto friendly.

I’ll echo what most others have said and say the food is fabulous. Inventive without being too out there, fresh as you would expect from the venue, delicious and artfully plated. The service was also top notch. Friendly, engaging, fast and eager to answer questions. We sat on the Chef’s porch, I guess it is called. Other reviews mentioned a counter and being uncomfortable with the seating or the view. Evidently the set up has now changed, as there is no counter, just a row of tables set for your party size. Comfy chairs and it looks out on to the garden. Nothing to complain about here.
