We decided to try this newer place in Rochester, MN, as this was to be our favorite place when it was an Irish pub. Food is great, very nice servers and love the decor as well. They have outdoor seating as well.Not to mention the bathroom is cleaned and very nice. Highly recommend.

Everything about this place is amazing!! We were at Thursdays on Friday and we decided to sit on the patio and eat here! We were all so happy with our decision! The food was amazing and large portions! My daughter even loved her spaghetti!!! If you are in the area this is a must stop!!

The Well always has consistently good service and great food! Tried the ice cream sandwich for the first time last night with homemade strawberry and vanilla ice cream, and topped with an amazing pistachio crunch. ❤️ the enchiladas, harissa chicken and the Parmesan crusted cauliflower. And the mashed sweet potatoes are a tasty side dish.

Went to The Well just for drinks since we already knew the food was just ok. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very cozy and classy. I had a lemon martini and it was pretty good! The other people I was with had wine and beer. We all agreed we would come back for an afternoon or late night cocktail.

The waitress took longer than expected but the food was quick; overall decent service. I ordered the chicken burger, which was grilled chicken with fried cheese, sautéed onions and avocado. I also reluctantly ordered their cheesecake as it seemed popular and I have a huge sweet tooth. The burger/sandwich was dressed up with toppings that are hard to mess up, onions were sweated nicely and the cheese was stretchy. The chicken was bland and sufficiently cooked but the toppings were compensating for taste. The cheesecake was rich but lacked depth, it almost resembled cream cheese. For the price, don’t get your hopes up or be confused, it’s Canadian Honker quality – priced up a little bit – and on 1st ave.

All-Star Basements
Pretty amazing place, there is nothing left over from the old place. It is obvious that the design team put in the work, it’s beautiful. The menu features things you really can’t find anywhere else in town, and the desert is to die for. If you are in town, I say absolutely give the Well a chance!
