The seafood platter for 2 was the same size as the platter you get at Magnolia Grill in Columbia and is way more expensive. The half order of oysters on the half shell were super small and not worth $17. The waiter was super busy and doing his best but there were all kinds of other wait staff just hanging around kinda watching everybody. I realize how things are, I used to work in the restaurant industry years ago, but the food prices versus the portion size and the entertainment is better next door at Sully’s to be honest. Not worth the high prices.

Today I ate at the Wharf in Petal. I got the boiled shrimp, always good until today. They were horrible! The boiled shrimp were too salty. I believe the person that cooked the shrimp made a mistake and added the spices twice to the cooker of shrimp. I told the waiter. He said he was sorry, but he did nothing to make it right. The waiter did not send the manager to our table. Oh yes I was charged for them. I will never eat there again. Piss poor professional way to handle the situation.

Food was good. Don’t order a appetizer they don’t start fixing your order until you finish your appetizer. They made a party of 15 people wait for 1 1/2 hours to get their orders becouse one person ordered a appetizer. The Manger said we should not have ordered the appetizer.

Always a pleasure coming here. The seafood is fresh, the po boy bread is authentic, and the portions are big. It has become a family favorite.

Food is a good imitation of Cajun for the area. I don’t think I’ve ever ordered a poboy that didn’t come with a side. Our waitress seemed bored and like we were an inconvenience. Overall not a good value for the money.

Decent food. However, after seeing how incompetent the person who took my order was (a Miss Sam), I won’t return again. She spent more time cursing at other people than trying to provide me with customer service. It’s incredible how a restaurant can even function with people that unprofessional.

I had made reservations 3 days before we were coming to the Wharf and even confirmed…when our party of 20 arrived, we had no table and no reservation. It took 40 mins past our reservation to get seated and on top of that our waitress was super rude with no social skills. The food was great but service and expectations were disappointing. Hope for a better experience next visit!

One of the best places to have true southerncooking and seafood. The combo for two really feeds four adults so beware! The steamed shrimp are fantastic and can be bought by the pound. There’s also a market there where you can buy fresh cut steaks and seafood.

BBQ shrimp were large , barely done , and the shrimp had no flavor, though the Sauce itself was pretty good . It was like the shrimp were precooked in water , then added to the sauce . Stuffed bread was pistolets hollowed out and some blend of small shrimp, crawfish and chesee placed in it. Was expecting literally stuffed pistolets that would be flash deep fried as in real stuffed bread would be.

Always by sister’s birthday sack of live crawfish from here. Prices are always great and there are hardly any dead ones…unlike other places I used to get them from. Service is always quick and friendly.
