Loved our experience, the place was very quiet and comfortable and most importantly the area was cleaned well. There was a small area for your toddlers to sit and play as well as local art on display. The food was fairly priced for the portion and tasted very good, the only problems we encountered are that we saw the people preparing the food touching their face and nose and such with the gloves and then went right on to touch the lettuce. That was a bit gross. I also found a hair in my latte but I understand sometimes that happens. It was still a delightful latte and I enjoyed it! We ordered food and lattes and overall I would come back.

Kylie and her crew were awesome. They were patient with my family taking forever to make decisions and always returned each request with a smile. I appreciate the kids menu that while not on the wall they do have it printed for selections. The food arrived hot and my family also enjoyed the sweet treats. Cute coffee shop in downtown Rocky Mount, VA. On a rainy Saturday morning the staff was friendly and quick- the best part was the blueberry scones that were still warm from being baked.

Excellent service. Free refills on our drinks. Love this place and a great addition to downtown Rocky Mount. I hope our town council understands how important places such as the Whole Bean are to our town. Let us keep the restaurant tax low so that places such as this can survive. These are some of the nicest people running this place! Love it here!

Very nice coffee shop in the cool little downtown area of Rocky Mount, Va. Found myself here and needed some caffeine so I dropped in. I went cortado. Cant say I am well schooled in this drink but enjoyed it. Very nice coffee shop with sandwiches and bakery items. Whole beans for sale and plenty of seating. Wish I had more time to check it out. Service was quick even though lady preparing my drink was training someone.

I really enjoy their (hot) Americano with a scone! They have plenty of seating, a pleasant clean environment, great fresh baked goods, breakfast and lunch items. Try their blueberry lemon scones if you want a delicious treat!
