I found this super cozy and friendly little restaurant. It’s tucked away off of the street and a bit hard to find, but it’s definitely worth looking for! It isn’t traditional Mexican food. Instead, it’s a modern interpretation but solidly based on traditional. It’s definitely one to check out. The menu is a bit limited but efficient. Everything looks great, so I guess I’ll have to come back and try the other offerings. Saludos!

The food was very good and fresh. It tasted like grandma made it! I liked the cool dog sculptures on the wall and they have a nice little outdoor seating area for when it’s warmer and dry outside (it was raining when we were there).

It was a little difficult to find because the entrance is on the backside of the building, so I called the restaurant looking for help. I didn’t get an answer right away but someone called me back about a minute later and explained how to get in. I’m so glad they called back because the food was wonderful. Just enough options! Everything was great and the stand out to us was the soup. Looking forward to going back!

The tacos are out of this world delicious, with freshly made blue and/or yellow tortillas and their fillings full of flavor, but not spicy! We also were deeply impressed and grateful bc their entire menu is gluten free! (You can ask them to hold the dairy on the items that would otherwise be topped with crema/queso fresco for an entirely dairy free meal also!) The Aztec soup is already one of my top fave soups of all time. The outside patio is spacious and the whole vibe of the place is very cool/cute. anyway, yeah, we loved this place.

The tortillas are bland, nothing like the one’s from Mexico. Perhaps the recipe is from another Latin American country, because Mexican they are not. You’re better off getting Milagro Tortillas, which can be bought at my local Mexican Store(San Jose, Gutierrez). I tried a dish with Green Rice/ Potatoes and Chile Poblano. I paid $3.50 for a pound of Tortillas, and $9 for the dish. I was not a fan. Overall there are much better choices to be had, even in Goshen.

Everything was excellent, the horchata was delicious and refreshing, and they were the best tacos I’ve ever had. You have to walk down the alley to find it but it’s totally worth it!
