Great little place to grab some day rub bbq. I mean little because the dining area inside is pretty small. The outside deck area has the most seating, so if you do not want to sit outside, this place most likely isn’t for you. Everytime I eat at a new bbq spot, I always go for the brisket. I believe that if they can’t get that staple right, then the rest of the menu items might not be good either. So, I got the brisket and was some what disappointed. It tasted like crockpot bbq that was a bit chewy and lacked flavor. The reason I am giving it a four is because of the portions you get and the awesome staff. You will get plenty of food and might leave with some leftovers. The staff was extremely friendly and did everything they could to make sure we had a great experience. Will I go back? Maybe.

Great food; super friendly service! All the sauces we tried (from sweet to spicy) were delicious! A caveat: I ordered from the slider menu and thought I was getting burgers with different toppings. I may have misread the menu but they are not burgers, which now makes sense given the low price. I ordered the pork and apples slider and a pimento slider and both tasted amazing!! The Wicked Pig burger is huge and tastes great! The pork is of course the star and very flavorful! No sauce needed.

After spending the morning hiking in the Blue Ridge mountains, my family sought out a local joint where we could have lunch in downtown Clayton, Georgia. I ordered the barbecue fries (pictured below- come with bacon, ranch, cheese, and Carolina yellow sauce) which is actually an appetizer, but the waitress assured me it could also fit as a meal for one. My other family members ordered the pulled pork sandwich and pulled pork tacos. We were all highly satisfied with our meals- especially the delicious chargrilled taste coming from the meat. You can’t get that kind of rich, smokey flavor at your standard barbecue joint unless you smother it with some kind of cause. The meat at Wicked Pig didn’t even need any sauce (though all there sauces are very good). The restaurant and bathrooms are very clean, and they have a nice little outside eating area with a live band that plays on occasion. The staff was very friendly too. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely stop by The Wicked Pig again! We recommend you give them a try too!

My wife and I are on our honeymoon and found this place on Google. We’ve been enjoying the local spots all weekend. Hands down, this was the best food in Clayton. Everything on our plate was amazing. We were seated right away and our server Cat was fun and energetic. She’s certainly a people person and makes this place even better. We’ll be back!!

I went for a hike early morning in Clayton and stumbled across this place on my way out. I had my dog with me so it caught my eye that they had a porch. As soon as I walked up I was greeted. Fortunately she didn’t make me go inside. Someone brought me a menu and then my waiter brought me a dog bowl full of water for my pup. Instantly pleased with that! I ordered the brisket taco and chicken taco with a side of fried okra. It was delicious! There’s some kind of sauce that is like an Alabama white sauce that is amazing. It’s a great dipping sauce. Food came out quick and was very fresh. I will be back next time I’m in the area. I wish I could remember my waitresses name. She was so nice and helpful with the recommendations!

Stopped in for lunch. The brisket plate was amazing. Indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor patio is super nice. Service was excellent. Levi is a very good server.

Excellent BBQ everything we ordered was delicious. I loved the side salads too (brócoli and coleslaw) They had nice live music l’d love to come in summer time and seat in the terrace.
