We are staying in Jackson at a quaint little hotel, we asked several people where to go, and shockingly nobody referred us to this restaurant. After doing some online reviewing, we decided this looked like a restaurant we would enjoy. The service was over the top, from the young kid, who greeted us, to the waitress…, it was a quiet atmosphere, the food Exceptional (and we do a lot of fine dining).

Wild Rose restaurant is in the Stonehurst Manor Hotel. An elegant, cozy Victorian Era manor. The view of Mt. Washington is gorgeous. The host was pleasant. Our server Kate is 5* customer service and the personality to match. She understood our desire to eat and savior every bite, so we ask that our courses come slowly. She accomplished that. She even ran out calling Casey(how she even remembered my name)because we had left our” picnic” for the next day!

Beautiful location with Great views. Food sub par at best. Lobster Rangoon tasted like processed food that I would buy at a grocery store. Dinner special of shrimp with stuffing was dry with little flavor. Potato and veggie on the side but with no butter the potato was dry. Roasted duck very greasy. Great service and good drinks. To long between appetizers and entrees for my personal liking. Definitely had better food at some chain restaurants. Disappointing for a anniversary night out.

I took my wife out for a great meal and dinning experience. What I got was service I would expect in an I hop and a meal not much better. The wait staff slow and unattended didn’t refill drinks, the bread basket, or clean all dirty dishes from table. The appetizers came out fast but main meal slow and tasteless have had better stake at Applebee’s so much for pit smoke prime rib. The atmosphere was very stuffy. For the price we paid was definitely not worth it. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

We had 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts here. Dinner meals were wonderful. However, at 8 pm seating, waitress was preoccupied with something else and never checked on us. Had earlier seats following day and better service. Breakfast was okay. Everything premade (bacon/sausage/home fries etc) tossed into a pan, which didn’t stay warm, and pulled once main entree cooked.

High end prices, food was well portioned and flavorful but the ambiance was not worth a second trip. We had a table of 6, we had to shout to hear each other over all the other tables in the main dining room. Dinner lasted 2.5 hours. Do not bring kids or vegetarians, they would not be pleased with the options. Drinks are pricey, desserts are not as well prepared as the entrees. Not café coffee options. Lobster ravioli was a hit at the table due to full lobster meat in the pasta but all in all nothing really on the menu would have us come back.

The atmosphere is nice. That was the only thing that was. Service was very slow. To make it worse, we would order something and the host would forget what they said they were going to bring/do…multiple times. The restaurant was not busy. The food was very bad. The Mac and Cheese was so full of butter that even my kids refused to eat it (I tried it and thought I was eating a stick of butter). The adult food had a similar issue, except with salt. Left us feeling very ill. Then at the end, they charged us for things that their menu said was included in the meal. Not coming back.

The waitress was amazing and I’m sure all of them are! There is a little lounge you can sit in when you walk in and unfortunately they pick and choose who can sit in different places! We had a perfect dinner, and we chose to go sit in the lounge after dinner to have a drink they moved us several times, saying there was bigger parties coming in. As we sat there for over an hour after we were moved from the first place, we sat That no one ever came in to sit at ?? we’ve decided that is why, as one seat became so popular that they couldn’t even let it sit there! The experience became not so inviting, and we will definitely not be coming back 🙁 it is a shame, how they treat people so differently in certain situations
