Coming back from hiking Sharp Top Mountain, we saw this cute little place and figured we’d try it out. We sat outside and they were nice enough to start the little fire pit to help warm us up. The owner Spring waitednon us and she was the tops. Great personally and super helpful. I got the fried oyster dinner and my wife got the black and blue burger. While waiting for our food we went inside a d checked out the little wine shop they have, which lead to my wife getting a glass and bottle. Our food came out nice and hot. The oysters were good, but little small. My side of potato salad was pretty tasty as well, and no skins! Hard to find potato salad with no skins. My wife didn’t the the burger itself, the meat part was very tasty. Nothing wrong with it just bland. She said that if it wasn’t for the blue cheese, she didn’t think it would have much taste. She did enjoy her and French fries though. No reason we wouldnt come back though and try them again.

We stopped in here on a rainy Saturday afternoon for lunch. Unfortunately, I did not get pictures of our dishes, but they were wonderful! I had the chicken salad sandwich on a croissant with macaroni salad and my fiance had a club on wheat toast with onion rings. Both were presented very simply but tasted absolutely delicious! We had our dog with us so we sat outside under a covered table. It was misting slightly so not heavy rain but we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The owners are nice, the town is cute, and we will definitely be back!

hidden gem and worth the 5 min drive from route 81! I highly recommend this place for a lunch spot- it’s so cute, modern, and has a beautiful mural painted on the side of the building! the owners were so friendly and attentive and the food was AMAZING- literally the best turkey club and Reuben we’ve ever had! I even left with some bottles of wine from their wine cellar.. 100% recommend!

This is the coolest little cafe tucked away in the mountains right off I81 in Buchanan, VA. The owners are the nicest people you ever wanna meet, the food was great, and the ambiance is as fresh as the menu. Two thumbs up!!

Husband and wife team are very nice and have great hospitality! Loved the crossaint breakfast sandwich. My husband and I were served mugs that say “Mr. Right” and “Mrs. Always Right” it was a nice touch! My husband got the corned beef hash which was also excellent. Looking forward to visiting again!

I am giving a 5 star review before even tasting the desserts we have ordered to go! This stop has been a delightful change from the drudgery of interstate travel and food chains. The owners and other staff are engaging and friendly. We were given some history of the area and historical sites of note. The town is quaint, the restaurant clean and inviting, food yummy, and people nice. Good reasons to travel 4 miles from the interstate. The reviews were spot on!

We missed breakfast at the hotel we were staying at and found this hidden gem nearby, best decision we made the entire trip. Food was outstanding! The owners and chef were super nice. Omg the pineapple caramel cheesecake was out of this world amazing. I told the owner it was award winning. Better than Cheesecake Factory and Juniors in New York. That cheesecake and the chicken salad sandwich is so good she should have her own cooking show. Amazing! Wish she was closer to Chesapeake!!

We stopped for breakfast and are so pleased that we did!! I had one of the quiches which was a flavorful Italian quiche and a buttery croissant. My husband had the skillet breakfast which was amazing and delicious. The staff was personable and helpful. We will definitely be going back.
