Happy hour is great. An excellent bean dip. Cheeseburger came with a fantastic salad. My friend who is gluten-free, was able to request lettuce wrap instead of a bun for her cheeseburger. Solid beer, options and lots of open air seating with picnic style tables, as well as having great ventilation for indoors. Each time I’ve been there I’ve seen kids able to sit with their parents and enjoy.

Wonderful place to meet up with friends, go on a fun date, or even work on your computer or read at the bar. All vibes here are great, lots of different nooks to sit in, outdoor areas, and delicious FRESH and creative food. Great cocktails, nice service, good neighborhood staple.

Excellent burger here. I tried the crispy chicken sandwich and it was just so lovely! It came out pretty quick, just the right amount of sauce to not be a drippy experience and the bun was so light and fluffy! It comes with the fries and they are very nice and crisp as well! Only deducted one star because they forgot my water and took a super long time to take our order despite not actually being busy. I am totally understanding if there’s a lot going on, but there were literally like 7 people in the entire section and most of them had been served when I arrived.

Overall The Yard has all the pieces, but they weren’t connected yesterday. Service was decent, the outdoor seating is great, but the fries were legitimately not all the way cooked and sandwiches just weren’t on point flavor wise, even paid extra for a spicy shrimp torta that wasn’t even spicy??

Been here before and it’s been fine, but went tonight and realized there were about two dozen ants in the bottom of my glass of root beer. It happens, but when I told an employee they just said “oh, that’s no good” and handed the glass to the bartender to dump it. Later on I asked my waitress if she could make sure it got passed on to management so they could check the root beer tap and she told me the person I had talked to was the manager. She also mentioned it was probably too late to do anything, because we already paid. I’ve worked in service and I know that’s not true, but again it’s fine that’s not what bothered me. I was just pretty taken aback that the manager never apologized or indicated they would do something about it. You’d think a customer saying hey there’s tons of bugs in my glass would be something they’d want to make sure didn’t pop up in a google review. Unfortunately they lost two customers and it did, in fact, wind up on google.

Service was quick considering how busy the place was on a Sunday afternoon. Our waiter Luke was great and really helpful (esp since he was both bartending and serving at the same time). We had the fried chicken sandwich and the Migas fried rice special. Would highly recommend!

I really appreciated the server we had last night. My kid wanted to watch a baseball game on TV and I needed a break from cooking/ dishes. Even through the place was packed they took the time to turn on the TV. When hockey was on they saw his disappointed face and asked him what he really wanted to see. I appreciated the great service on a busy night!
