We were driving through and needed to stop somewhere for breakfast. Very tasty. Fries are crispy. Friendly service. Worth a detour! I got the Muffaletta sandwich (different type of “ciabatta bun” than we have in Toronto but it’s okay), and my husband got the Reuben. We got chicken fingers on the side. No complaints.

Very small and cramped with overpriced food. But hey… Week old cake is $2 dollars yall. Asked for a well-done burger but was pink inside. I cooked it longer at home but it just turned more red. So, I guess the meat was cooked well but the dye didn’t break down? I don’t know but I threw it out. Our drinks were filled frequently but never full glasses for some reason. To go orders were prioritized over diners who already had orders in and on the service line. Server was good.

Man, what a great breakfast in Downtown Elkin. The food and service were just outstanding. This little dinner is bright, cheery and welcoming. I had the chipped beef gravy and some eggs and my husband got the farmhouse breakfast. Delicious. Service was 100% the best part of the experience. Skip the rest and just walk through the Yellow Door!

Absolutely amazing food and amazing people. They have gluten free bread which is perfect for me and they have such a good menu. They may have some dairy free options too, but I’m unsure as of currently (I’ll update if I figure it out.) Overall amazing and definitely a good lunch stop!!

Nope. I’m all for supporting local but today was a severe disappointment. $10 for avocado toast and it didn’t even have avocado on it. Waited 45 min for food that didn’t even require cooking. The small yogurt parfait was a hodge podge of fruit despite it saying only 2 kinds of berries. My bf hates grapes and watermelon and this small cup of yogurt for $7 had those in it too. Please use this as an opportunity to step up the service and quality of food. Very disappointing.

Delicious! My mom and I had the pleasure of coming here during their first week of being open. The staff were all so friendly, small cute and cozy place, food was delicious and arrived FAST to our table. Not for big groups but for a cozy dining experience.
