Found my catfish place! Been trying for a couple years to find a place that seasons their fried catfish and I finally found it! Family owned and run business serving family recipes. The red beans and rice were divine and the half n half sweet tea and lemonade(pomegranate?) was perfect. Super friendly staff. Will be making this our regular stop for comfort food.

Now y’all know good & well y’all ain’t have to throw down on this catfish this way!!!!! I been searching for some good bone in catfish for a WHILE, y’all are EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for! Ain’t had none like this since I left Monroe! The greens are good, that vegetable soup is great, that cornbread is fire, the customers service was on point! I was given this as a filet of fish ! What’s the difference between a tender and fillet if this is what every piece of fish looks like. Every other piece was just broken off pieces.The best thing was the wings but fries aren’t seasoned the tartar sauce was basic restaurant supply sauce. Not to mention how little sauce they give you. Overall would have loved to support I understand the place being cheap but if I have to pay more for a real filet I will this was unacceptable. Not to mention you pay $5 for literally a scoop of peach cobbler. I want my $40 back

Looking for the BEST fish in town, GO HERE!!! I came by a while back and since then all I think about when I’m in the mood for fish is this place. Fresh, fresh, fresh!! I went there again this week, this time I had fish and shrimp!! Best choice everrrr! Big, clean, fresh fried shrimp! Mannnn y’all. I had a chance to speak to the owner and his daughter, they are good humble folks; I told them their establishment is the BEST! When you exit get to your right lane, pull in right after the day care.

Always friendly staff and while there is typically a wait you can’t complain because the food is fresh and always taste amazing. Order is always accurate no matter how big. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but the food is delicious and not overpriced at all.

Beautifully authentic catfish that taste like from home. Not all catfish taste the same and if your home is east of Texas you know how Mississippi catfish taste.These folk cook it to order. Fish soo fresh I might as well put my tongue in the grease. Whatever water these folk pull they fish of is blessed.

I called my order in and went to pick it up. I got there and the cashier lady said that her card machine was down. Disappointed, I went and got cash. Came back and picked up my order, and something told me to check it. I checked it and they only gave me one fillet and 4 shrimp. They were rude and So unprofessional and when I called them all they said is “they said the 2 pieces are in there.” That is a lie, if one of you ate my fish (apparently y’all did) just say that. All y’all should be ashamed. I will not be returning. Incompetent, and unprofessional. they didn’t really care that their card machine was down, the male from the back kind of just laughed at me and went on about his business when telling me I needed to pay in cash. I mean laughed. What kinda of business are y’all running? And who is allowing y’all to run it like that? No apology, only free kool aid to rectify it after I came back with cash. Shame on y’all (because it would be rude to say the f word)

Food was good! Fish was nice and crispy. The customer service was great as well. They were out of tarter sauce at the time but I really wanted some and the lady was so nice she made a fresh batch for me. I really appreciate that. I would definitely come back and recommend this restaurant to others.

I must say this is some of the best catfish in Grand prairie….. I’ll recommend everyone to try them. They write off the freeway off of 161 money. Well spent… I’m looking forward for them to do my corporate events as well a must try is Mississippi honey heat please put it on your fish and hot wings. You won’t regret it

I was very confused. The gps took me to a building that looked closed. As i was checking to make sure i was at the right spot a guy came out and said they were open. The reviews are great. The initial appearance had me skeptical on going in. My father was with me and he was not having it! We left but i am still curious…. i think i will go back solo…. you know hole in the wall joints be the best spots…. See my update…. I went back and boy am I glad I did!
