First time visiting for lunch. The food was excellent. The service was good. We had two toddlers and three adults. I had the salmon BLT- excellent! A challenge was going on for these huge burgers. None of them met the challenge of eating within 30 minutes but they all said it was great!

Definitely worth stopping for a bite. Pizza and burger were excellent. Service was excellent. My hubby ordered a coffee not the hot chocolate on the receipt. Coffee was horrible but, he needed caffeine for the drive back to Chicago. As for the vibe of the restaurant it looked like a seafood joint inside and a juke joint outside.

Amazing food! We ordered the kids pita pizza and hamburger, homemade chicken strips, Out West burger, and Albino Chicken sandwich were superb! Great service too! Definitely a place to go back to!

It’s definitely a small town dive with good food. There’s not much attractive on the outside, and inside it’s a simple diner decor. Several items were out on a Wed night. My wife’s crabcake sandwich w sweet potato fries was a miss and a hit. The crabcake was thin & ordinary, unlike more meaty and tastier versions eaten elsewhere. On the other hand, I totally enjoyed the Feesh – three pieces of hand battered pollock w slaw & a side salad. The fish was super tender with a real crunch.

So the food was good. But it’s not awesome to get 5 stars. And although the description says made from scratch, the fries are not, so not 4 star worthy either. And they were out of tea and lemonade. The service was good, and they were somewhat attentive. However, when other people went to pay, they had to wait cause nobody was around. So I made sure I paid attention to when other people came in, so I knew I wasn’t going to have to wait to pay as well. So the atmosphere is just awful. No music playing, just awkward when we walked in, and it was silent. There were people there, but everyone could hear each other talk. They tried with the interior decorating but failed miserably in the bathroom. See pic. The outside is terrible, too. And it’s a restaurant, I get it. It’s not a design show. However, when working with food, you just want to know that the environment they’re working in has quality standards. And when you see things like this that they know, customers can see and don’t even address or work on it, made me worried about what we can’t see in the kitchen where they’re cooking our food. Would not return.

My son is obsessed with guessing the price of our meals when we eat out, so I kind of consider him an expert . Tonight he asked how much our bill was for dinner and, with big eyes and a surprised reaction, said, “That wasn’t bad for the amount of food we bought, and it was good too!”

We stopped in for a burger after our day of hiking at Hocking Hills State Park. They did not disappoint! Best burger we have had in a long time! Pretty sure it was the out west burger. Had bacon, onion ring, cheese, topped with a white BBQ sauce. We got that on the side we just aren’t sauce people. Love dangerous and make it a double! You won’t be disappointed!
