They Say Restaurant | Harper Woods, located at 17810 Vernier Road at Kelly, opened May 1, 2019 offering guests live jazz entertainment on Friday nights and new menu items such as beef short ribs, a seafood trio that includes corkscrew shrimp, calamari fries and clam strips, a “They Say Philly” sandwich and a Reuben, among other fare.
They Say favorites such as They Say Wings, Ribs, Lamb Chops, Salmon Croquettes, and Lobster Mac are also on the menu.

The food was great! I recommend the lamb chops, greens, & macaroni & cheese. You will love it. I hadn’t been there in 2 years, but the food, live music, and ambiance was really nice. If I may say, the waitress could work on being a bit more friendly. She wasn’t bad just indifferent & a little slow. Don’t get me wrong though, the food made up for that.

I had a delicious meal at the downtown location a little while ago. I was at the Harper Woods location on Saturday and I only had a glass of wine. The band was awesome. During their short breaks, the radio volume was way too high. Could barely hear yourself think!

The food was amazing! Got the Jazz Burger and a side cup of the They Say Sauce… Burger appears 5 star, and tases just as good. French fries seem beer battered and don’t need any sauce, though their BBQ sauce makes them smack even more! I will definitely be returning. Staff is friendly, food was perfect, food preparation was super speedy, and the inside looks spectacular for a good date night!

I am sitting at Table 30 & not one waitress has even made eye contact with me to ask if I want a glass of water. Now I am with the band but I have no problem paying for what I want. All I wanted was something sweet but obviously I don’t need it. I am currently at the Eastland Location. Next time I will bring my own sweet. Awful awful service!!

We arrived and stood at the front for 5 minutes waiting to be seated. Finally was seated by our wonderful staff assistant for the evening Anthony. We placed a quick order of catfish nuggets and rib tip dinner with a lemonade. The food came out very quickly and the fish was cooked perfectly just couldn’t taste the seasonings. As for the rib-tips… well it was more fat & gristle than meat but the BBQ sauce and fries were good, and the lemonade was nice as well.

I live in the area so i took my three children here after school. When we arrived it was not crowded . We waited several minutes at the front door to be seated/greeted. I order a 20 piece wing and potato skins for us to share. The potato skins were small & warm not hot. The wings were very overcooked /tough ….We ate one a piece at the most…. The host/bartender/waiter/manager didn’t check on us the entire time we were seated. When he finally came over I told him about the chicken & his response was “you already ate it so no discount/ removal of appetizer; I didn’t want to argue so I paid the $50 tab & left. I’m not interested in going back anytime soon maybe never again!

I spent 65$ treating me & daughter I got rib tip bbq dinner bakepotatoe n huney bread pudding gigantic chuck of disaster chocolate chip doesn’t go on bread pudding I was disappointed.
