Excellent place. If you are familiar with Thirsty Turtle this place is just next door and is the same food .. except to go or for delivery. You can’t beat their wing sauce. The service here has always been quick friendly and professional. The quality of food never changes. You always know what you are going to get. It’s 5 stars every time!! Fries and medium wings with extra sauce!! It’s the best meal you can ever have.

Ok so i just had the fried oysters and Cole slaw. The oysters had more batter than oyster and they had no seasoning at all! The Cole slaw was very bland. Tasted like mayonnaise! That’s a one and done for me! Back to Hooks and Snappers for me!

I did express and this is a bad experience for me. Disgusting. I got the shrimp scampi and it was VERY salty. It also looks like the noodles are just sitting in the pasta water. Do not recommend the shrimp scampi.

Don’t know what happened to this place, it used to be great. Wings burnt and VERY SMALL soaked in sauce it was almost like bone soup there was nothing on the wings. 45 minutes for ten wings. Clam strips hard as a rock, broccoli was cold. Very disappointed, do not think we will be going back here.

I think it was alright. I ordered baby back ribs with a side of alfredo pasta & fries. I thought the pasta was rather bland, the fries’ fine but there i think was an issue with the ribs. Even though it tasted good for the most part, I don’t think the silverskin was taken off. On the back of the ribs was this flakey layer that was peeling off. My family members who also ordered the ribs had the same thing. I’ve had plenty of ribs in my life but they never had this flakey layer on it.

Only reason I’m not giving 1 star is because the cashier was pleasant. Stark difference in food quality from restaurant and express, however the product should be consistent across the board especially when charging nearly $20 for 10 piece wings. Picked up wings and they were soggy! No bueno. After asking if they were ordered extra crispy (which I’ve never had to do as that’s how I’ve always had them made next door) they were nice enough to “remake” them, but they were ready in less than 5 minutes and were semi crisp and not fresh out the oil hot so I presume they were not actually remade. Ordered them hot but they taste mild. Will not be back unless it’s to sit down and eat next door as to not waste money on subpar food.
