We went here for the 1st time after passing it by the last few years. It can be hard to get into during popular dinner times. We went for an early lunch and got in just fine. We loved everything about this place! The decor was very nice. I loved the drink selection for cocktails. All the food options looked very appetizing! The dishes we got were all amazing. We really enjoyed our experience and will be back to eat their again!

Pulled my boat into Bay St. Louis Marina last Saturday to get fuel and took a short walk with my friends to look for a place to get lunch before heading out and stumbled across the Pearl Hotel and the Thorny Oyster. Wow! This place was fantastic! Food was amazing and the service was stellar. Ronelle was our server and she was beyond attentive going the extra mile for everyone in our party. My wife and I split the wedge salad (Ronell had the kitchen plate it separately for us without our asking) and it was one of the best wedge salads we have every had. I ordered the Muscles & Fries in a saffron broth that was truly outstanding and certainly a departure from any PEI dish i have ever had before. Everyone in our party raved about the experience and cannot wait to go back again!

Whoa and wait a minute! Should have tried this restaurant when it first opened as it was on my Want To Go List! Now it’s on My Favorite Places List! Probably Top 5! If delectable could be described in a bite, this definitely is a MUST stop. The ambiance, professional waitstaff, and the scrumptious food created a perfect dining experience. Had the day Fish Special, fried soft shell crab atop a squash medly tomato sauce. Triple yum! My friend had the Lobster roll, creamy and dreamy. No craft drinks this time but anxiously awaiting my soon to return visit as I’m craving to try the Bouillabaisse! Our wait person Amber was very courteous and menu-knowledgeable. Five+ Star restaurant, definitely a Foodie MUST! Hold up, apologize for the lengthy review but you can tell how excited I am about this restaurant! Forgot to mention how delicious the cooked and seasoned to perfection our Calamari app was. Oh so melt in you mouth, humming out loud goodness!

My wife and I had dinner here with friends recently for my birthday and enjoyed it enough I felt I had to leave a review. I had heard about this new restaurant in Bay St. Louis, with Jeffrey Hansell as the head chef. I was friends with his father and uncle back in college, so I wanted to go try the place out. Let me tell you, it was overall an outstanding experience. First of all the location is prime. The town of Bay St. Louis has popped up on the radar as a fun and relaxed place to hit the beach and have some fun and the restaurant is right in the center of the action. You get a nice view of the harbor and the bay.

Wow! Went for brunch this wknd and was really blown away. We’ve lived in the area for a bit but never been. The atmosphere is so cool and beautifully decorated. The drink menu looked wonderful – they had a nice wine by the glass list too. The brunch was unique and so many things sounded delicious. We had the tomato toast which was beautiful and delicious. The calamari was perfectly seasoned and wonderful. We had the crab cake Benedict and the crab cake was thin but flavorful. My kids had the fried shrimp and chicken. Very large portions for the kids plates.

We sat at the bar for an impromptu lunch. We shared the roasted brussels sprout salad. Then I got the Torny Burger and hubs got the fish sandwich, both were delicious. We also got poinsettias to drink. Hope to come back soon.

We started off with the Seafood Plateau and it was FANTASTIC. Raw oysters, gulf shrimp, snow crab, crab claws, and the star of the dish, in my opinion, was the ceviche. So simple, yet exploding with flavor. It was so much food we had to split an entree.

We were here for dinner on my birthday and were quickly seated. The facility is a work of art and sophistication. Subtly decorated with soft lighting and accent walls we found the restaurant immaculate and well organized. Rest rooms were super clean with all facilities working and also well stocked. The bar looks cool and well organized. The menu is a bit whimsical but cool and well done. Having a few dishes done well is better than hundreds of selections that are so-so. We’ve been to the MS coast from Ocean Springs to BSL and hands down Thorny Oyster has been the best of them all. All the dishes showed sophistication and imagination in their preparation. Everything was also delicious and had generous portions.
