Great place to go if you have a hankering for burgers, fries, or milkshakes! The fries were good and crispy and plenty for one person (I recommend sharing fries between two if you are also getting a sandwich and aren’t as hungry). The fried chicken sandwich was good, but more of a chicken patty than chicken breast, with a basic breadcrumb coating. Smash burger, with two smash patties, was also good. They also sell an impossible smash burger. The food was easy to order from the outdoor counter and arrived fairly quickly. We didn’t order milkshakes, but they come in vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry and looked delicious. As of mid-April 2023, they only have outside seating, but signs suggest they will soon offer indoor seating!

Great place! Well thought out menu with just the right amount to pick from. I got the smash burger with a side of fries and chocolate milkshake. Everything was extremely delicious and I can’t wait to go back!

I’m a foodie, but it’s rare I bother to do a review. But, after eating my smash burger today, I had to jump online to quickly give this 5 stars. Might be the best burger I have ever had. The fries were large, crispy and delicious and I also tried the strawberry milk shake — yum!! It was certainly more food than I could finish, but I had to sample everything. I can’t wait to go back and bring my husband who is a burger fanatic.

My friend and myself enjoyed a fabulous beach day. We were headed home and wanted to eat before we left Cumberland. We stopped at a restaurant and decided it wasn’t what we wanted. I remembered an eatery I passed by a few days before and we decided to do there. We were so glad we did. The Thoroughfare did not disappoint. We both ordered the Bacon BBQ Burger, split an order of fries and split a chocolate milk shake. Thank goodness we split the fries and drink. The burger was gigantic….we joked that it was an 8 napkin burger and it was…our was delicious, hot, and perfect. The prices were great and the service was above what we read as far a ordering and waiting…I will definitely return and will recommend to people who may travel out that way….LOVED IT

i like this place would prefer to rate it higher, but the inconsistency makes it tough. our last experience involved waiting outside for an hour only to get cold food. this morning (saturday) i wanted to try breakfast. menu says they open at 7; google maps says 8; voicemail (nobody answers the phone) says 10; toast says 11. why are you making it so hard?

Amazing burgers! The Smash burgers are made with a special sauce and the kids burger is a classic cheeseburger. The fries are great, too, with or without ketchup. So worth it the wait if they tell you there is one. Also, gotta try the shakes if you like them!
