This is a solid stop for Mexican breakfast. They seem to specialize in breakfast tacos, and carry a huge variety of recipes I’ve never heard of. I picked 6 random tacos and found all sorts of different variations of meats, potatoes, and eggs in them. All of them were pretty good, and larger than the regular hand-sized tacos you normally find. Had I known, I would have gone for corn tortillas (if they had them) instead of flour.

Always a great meal! In the several years we’ve visited, the service is always welcoming and the food is consistently delicious…homemade tortillas, abundant breakfast tacos. The booths and counter spots are comfy and the ambiente is easy. If this isn’t a family-run place, it definitely feels like it.

Geez! What can I say… this is my favorite breakfast place! But they also have great lunch as well. Our favorite waitress is Liz! She has the best customer service in all the years we’ve been visiting this place. My wife loves their coffee… lol Everything they cook is 100% great quality! We were told they freshly grind their coffee daily. ☕️ my favorite breakfast dish is the chilaquiles rancheros! My son loves their shredded chicken puffy tacos I recommend this place to anyone who wants great food in a comfy, clean environment.

Do not order from them through door dash! Every single time we’ve ordered through DD we are always missing an item or two. And I’ve called to let them know and the manager will argue with me that the Cashier checked and it was all there. Every time it has been arguments and blaming the door dash drivers. I know I could settle it with DD but I just wanted to let them know if they could check their orders before handing them out but there’s no wrong with them in their eyes. Bad customer service. Food is good but their customer service is the worst.

We just ate lunch here. I’ve heard great things about this restaurant, but honestly, this may be the worst Mexican food I’ve ever eaten in one of the dirtiest restaurants I’ve ever been in. I am a lifelong Texan and I don’t remember ever adding salt to a plate of Mexican food in my life. My husband and I both ordered beef enchiladas. What we got was unseasoned ground beef in a flour tortilla covered in enchilada sauce and the same unappetizing meat in a taco shell. The meat was gray and had absolutely no seasoning, no onions, no garlic, no chili. Just gray ground beef. Even the refried beans were bland. We asked for salsa and the server brought us a grimy squeeze bottle of green sauce. It was a truly awful meal, so awful, it’s shocking. I regret stopping here.

Love this place for tacos on the weekend. Food is always good. Order is always accurate. Prices have gone up, but are reasonable. Definitely my go to spot for tacos. Wish they were still open on Sundays.

This establishment has been our favorite Mexican restaurant for over 10 years. Sadly today will be the last time we will ever order from their establishment. We ordered breakfast today for pick up and upon eating our breakfast their beans were burnt. I called the restaurant to ask for a refund of just the items that had beans and was denied. I asked the lady if she was really going to deny me a refund after 15 years of loyalty and great food and service and she said yes. So I will be looking for a new restaurant that values their customers, understands the importance of retaining customers, and is not too proud to admit when a product and service is not on point.

Oh this place was bad. My family lives in the area and has enjoyed the food. Today I was in the area with my family. Instead of getting McDonald’s, I drove them here. First off place was packed and you have to stare down everyone eating in hopes of getting a table yourself as there is no host to do so. Once we got our table it took a bit but waitress came by asking what we wanted to drink. I got a soda, my mother got a sweet tea. We both ordered pancakes with our order, which came out first. Our waitress left the pancakes with a knife no fork. She didn’t come back around to check with us and we had to flag her down to ask her for forks. By this time I already had cut my pancakes an just ate it by hand. She came back around with our tacos which were cold in the inside but tortilla was warm not hot but warm. While eating I ate a quarter of my chorizo and egg and left it, sub par at best. I was needing a refill but again our waitress never came to check on us. She went around to her other tables, but not once to us after our food was dropped off. I seriously considered walking out of the place because of her inability of the job. My mother also was pretty displeased by the taste of her tea and food. Again McDonald’s seemed to be the better choice and will be our go to instead of this place.

Thousand Oaks Cafe is a hidden gem that has become a regular part of my weekly routine. Their Chilaquiles tacos are simply divine, and I find myself ordering them to go 2-3 times every week.

You can tell when a restaurant tries to save money and cuts corners. The bathrooms were run down and filthy. The booth & window was covered in a THICK layer of dust/dirt. The chips were obviously store bought. We were the only table that our waitress didn’t automatically get them, so we had to ask. The portions of rice and beans were so small, literally 3 spoons worth. The potato and egg taco was skimped out on, and it only had 3 tiny potatoes. The beef enchiladas were mostly stuffed with large pieces of potato, hardly any ground beef. The sweet tea was so unsweetened, that we thought they gave us unsweetened tea by accident. And the entire restaurant smelled like cigarettes. $14.95 for a plate w/ 1 enchilada, 1 crispy taco, 1 chalupa, when there’s PLENTY of other restaurants that offer that for bellow $11. Insane prices for tiny portions.
