I’m only giving it 3 stars because I know they can do better. Bought oyster dinner, oyster were good, but I couldn’t find the hush puppies because they were so small. I ordered a fish dinner and opened my coleslaw and half was gone. Called several times to complain and all of sudden he couldn’t speak English. Rolled me to voicemail 9 times. Just ridiculous, food cost too much to get a little bit of nothing AND bad customer service on top of it.

Orederd a catfish sandwich and fries. The amount of fish was good for the price, and the quality and taste was also good. The fires were good, too. Would recommend if you want a good fish sandwich at a fair price.

The food is good. Their service is good. But the portion sizes are just too small. I understand it’s not easy with an eatery but from $28 I should of atleast been able to feed me and my wife.

I’d never heard of fried salmon before. Grilled? Sure. Baked? Of course. Smoked? Had it. But battered and fried? Nope. So when I saw that mentioned in someone else’s review, I thought “let’s do it.” SOOO glad I did. They fry it in a cornmeal coating that is crispy and perfect. A little voice inside me said “see if they have lemon pepper.” They DO and I had them sprinkle some on. OMG! Totally made a great fried salmon just amazing! And let’s take a moment to talk about the SIZE. The menu says “2 fillets”, but I expected two strips of salmon. NOPE! These were two probably 1/3 – 1/2 lbs pieces of salmon! Anytime I come to Louisville I always get fried oysters and these could be the best I’ve had in this town. They use a regular batter on them, but they are fried just right with a tasty crunch. Did I mention the delicious creamy coleslaw that you expect to get in the south, but don’t always? Well you will here! No need for tartar sauce when you have slaw like this to complement the seafood. Add on a side of peppered green beans and if this is my last meal, know that I died a happy man.

Watched them take their trash out and set it at someone’s fence at the house next door to the restaurant on the ground, and throw things on their property, LITTERING! When they have a whole dumpster. Very unsanitary and rude. I reported them to the city for littering! Won’t be eating here again due to how disrespectful they are!

Found hair in my catfish and watched the foreign lady take trash out and not wash her hands before touching other peoples food. Won’t eat here again. Disgusting.
