This was my first time here. Waited here for 20 plus minutes *just* for two drinks for me and my son. Literally only ordered a Shirley temple and a beer. Bartender told us she was leaving (blonde girl) so she couldn’t take us, yet she was actively serving others until we left. How hard is it to fill two drinks? We were just patiently waiting and no one could be bothered.

Ate at $3 Cafe and was underwhelmed. Being hungover and hangry I had hoped to be wowed. I had the nacho mountain with added beef. The beef was barely marinated let alone seasoned. But the saving grace for the dish was the pickled jalapenos and sauteed onions. Overall the queso was used sparingly and the remaining nachos were left dry in despair and oil.

If you’re thinking of eating here (not just drinking), some of the low reviews for this place are misleading, as they seem to focus on bar service and wait time, rather than food quality. Not that helpful.

We’ve only ever ordered from there through Uber Eats, but every time is spot on. The food is fantastic, reasonably priced, and they give you a TON for your money. They’re also fast. They are now our go-to restaurant for lazy nights when we want to order in. We’ll have to visit in person one day!

I haven’t been to a TDC since moving to Georgia, but I visited several while travelling the area for business. Nice to know nothing has changed over the years. Consistently good chicken wings and frys. There was kitchen mistake with my order, but the server immediately corrected when I mentioned it. I visited for a late lunch on Monday with no wait. It certainly looked like business picked up significantly for post-work happy hour. Far better than being stuck in Atlanta traffic! 🙂

I love 3 Dollar Cafe, glad they brought it back to Kennesaw. I used to go to the original one back in the 90s, they have a lot of locations around Atlanta.
