Love this place for the chicken and rice. Similar to Singaporean chicken and rice but definitely has its own flair with the sauces and seasoning. It’s a small space with only a few tables but super cosy and the waitresses were attentive and nice.

Delicious little fried chicken joint, with a simple menu. Flavorful food and quality customer service. If you can get a seat here, it’s definitely worth your time and money. The chicken is crispy but also juicy, with plenty of sauces to choose from. Their fries are top notch with flavor, taste, and texture. Overall score 8.5/10 ❤️

If you haven’t tried their zab seasoning you have been missing out. Get their zab fried chicken or the zab French fries and you won’t be disappointed. Best thing is that you can buy a jar of zab seasoning to take home and literally put it on everything! (Pro tip: best on popcorn!) Poached chicken was juicy and delicious without being heavily seasoned or greasy. Was a great mid day generously portioned snack for two.

Two words: zab seasoning. Get anything and everything seasoned in that because that combination of lemongrass and Thai chili spice is an absolute pleasure to experience. The grilled chicken was healthy, and decent but it’s definitely the fried chicken and the dipping sauce that take the cake. Service was very attentive at this small cozy spot. Recommend for a quick and tasty lunch, or casual dinner with a friend.

Kind of place where good chicken and rice comes together with creative simplicity. Small space with limited seating ~ may lend well for take away. The ZAB seasoning is very good but can be overboard so you may want to request on the side. The seasoning is also available for sale separately! I love this place! We got the poached chicken plate, grilled chicken plate, Zab seasoned fries and Thai tea with lime. I truly think the Thai tea was the best I’ve had in my life! I normally don’t like Thai tea because it tastes like a powdered mix milk tea that’s too sweet. This Thai tea you could tell they used actual tea to brew and it had great complexity and depth of flavor. The lime also added a nice tart contrast. I would go back to order that tea. The chicken was excellent. The poached chicken tasted like Hainanese chicken rice and the rice was fantastic. I loved the soup too. The Zab seasoned fries are also extremely addictive. Would definitely come back! Also, this place is extremely reasonably priced especially for NYC. You could eat for $20 or less for a single person and have a delicious meal and that is truly hard to find in this city.

Flavorful chicken & ginger/coconut rice. You can add Zab spices but truly not needed. I prefer without. Reasonable prices. Simple honest food, tastes quite authentic. The set comes with a small salad & soup, both quite tasty. Service is excellent. Small space with limited seating. Been back a couple of times. A nice reliable neighborhood go-to for a casual meal.

Delicious zab chicken! It’s the perfect blend of citrus and spice. The ginger rice is amazing and the zab fries were cooked and seasoned to perfection *chef’s kiss*. I also love the chrysanthemum tea and the Thai iced tea, can’t go wrong with either! The service is fast and the staff are super friendly. They also have punch cards that can earn you a free meal! Love this place!
