We used thumbsuckers to cater our wedding, everybody did wonderful and the food was amazing. The one and only major complaint I have is that we wanted a hispanic themed cocktail hour, we asked for esquite (corn, mayo, lime, cheese and tajin) but instead of esquite we just got vegetables (carrots and broccoli with ranch). The main course was excellent. The steak and chicken was perfect. When I tell you that is some of the best chicken and steak I have ever had I mean it whole heartedly.

Awesome Burger, in town working for a little bit and couldn’t pass up a restaurant with that name, stopped in for lunch, and was pleased with everything down to the sweet ladies that helped me with my order. Will definitely be back. Absolutely loved your fries, but that burger was king of the land.

Burger was bland and fries were over cooked and dark brown… Over half of them were inedible. Staff was super nice. Floor was sticky and my shoes would get stuck as I tried to walk.

Our first visit! The servers were very nice – food exceeded our expectations. The only reason it is rated 4 stars – is that the TVs were loud and there was music. Made it a ‘busy’ space. TVs on with no sound – just music – would have made it perfect.

Every time we travel, we eat at one place that trumps all the rest and we have to just rave about it. THIS is that place. This came recommended to us by a local and we were NOT disappointed. You have to try their corn skillet. It is like creamed corn but not that thick creamy that you expect. The ribeye was flavorful and cooked to order. The shrimp trio was truly JUMBO shrimp. The cole slaw was different than any kind I’ve had before and it was very good. The grilled red potatoes were very good and cooked perfectly. the fried okra was also very good and not overly fried. Even the bread was good that came out in the beginning. Places like this we usually end up ordering dessert. We ordered the banana pudding and even that was phenomenal. Everything came out hot. The wait staff was very pleasant and checked on us a few times as well. The only thing was when they started getting very busy they either got forgetful or just overwhelmed with the customers (or possibly short staffed that night). Regardless, their politeness and the quality of food totally wipes out this small issue. This place was so good we were going to go back today for lunch but we got there between their lunch and dinner times so they were closed. It is very rare that we return to a restaurant a second time while on vacation but we really truly enjoyed this place. DO NOT miss out if you are in the area for any reason or are a local looking for some good food.
