Had gotten special of the day ribi sandwich for me and my girlfriend both of us started eating and were continuing spitting out grizzly pieces of not sure what !! When approached by bartender that served us we told her how awful the sandwich was and told us there was nothing she could do and gave us credit on are drinks?? There was nothing wrong with the drinks, will never eat there again .

Great place to go for bar food and drinks, talked with the owner who was very friendly and was happy to talk about the work he had been doing on the building and landscaping so if you are in the area I would recommend stopping in for a drink, food and an overall great time, thank you thunder mountain valley inn for maintaining a gem of a bar off the beatin path!!!!

Located in the woods, Thunder Mountain Valley Inn has lots of windows, making it the perfect place to watch the wildlife from your spot at the bar. The decor inside is typical of the north woods. Low ceilings made of tongue & groove pine give this place a cozy atmosphere. Their burgers are some of the best in the area. On Tuesdays, they run a fantastic special – 1/3 lb hamburger & fries for $3.50. Attention Bloody Mary Fans: no mix used here, Bloody Mary’s are made from scratch! Holly, their bartender, is super friendly and makes coming here a great experience.
