They sure do make some nice flatbreads! This is a great little local place that will satisfy most of your Middle Eastern food cravings for a decent price. I ordered the labneh yogurt dip side, the lahmeh bi ajjine (lamb flatbread), Nutella manousheh (flatbread), and the baklava.

First time trying the place and absolutely loved it. I ordered the shawarma chicken bowl on Uber Eats and the pickup process were super smooth. The food itself tastes amazing. The pita bread was so soft and flavorful. The hummus was smooth and goes perfectly with the pita bread. The chicken were so juicy and goes so well with the garlic sauce. It really was a lot of food! AirPods Pro case for reference. It’s worth the price even if it seems high for a small store like this—the quality is not worse than places like CAVA and you get really full.

Stopped in for dinner on a Sat eve in July and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious and fresh the food was. We had the hummus, kafta flatbread, and chicken shawarma bowl with frekkeh and fatoush. The hummus was well seasoned with garlic, lemon and olive oil and the accompanying pita was hot out of the oven. The frekkeh had a wonderful hint of cinnamon, the chicken was moist but a little lackluster, the fattoush was fresh and very flavorful. The kaftas were made with fresh pita and the beef had great flavor. I would definitely eat here again. Note that while it was not very busy, there are only two large tables for shared seating and some stools along the windows. The restaurant runs warm given the large bread oven.

My wife, myself and my 17 month old son stopped by this past Friday. It was disappointing. There were only 2-3 customers in the restaurant. We ordered two bowls and figured that within a few minutes we would get our food. 23 minutes later we were still sitting around waiting. It looked like they had one big take out order that they were working on that entire time. I understand that this took time to prepare, but why did both employees have to focus on this one order, and then wait to make our meals until after it was completed? Why couldn’t one person step aside for a few minutes to make our two bowls while the other person continued working on that larger order?

Wonderful little hidden spot right downtown. Affordable eats, piping hot coffee, and excellent service. We went with their recommendations on salad and a gyro and weren’t disappointed! This place rocks!

The best meal I have ever had on the corner (sorry Bodo’s, sorry Roots). So sad that I tried it for the first time during my last week at UVA. Would have ordered this for lunch regularly had I found out about this place earlier. Apparently they ship ingredients directly from Lebanon to keep the flavors more authentic, and it shows in the quality of their food. Such simple ingredients packing so much flavor!

This place is phenomenal. I had the chicken shawarma bowl and it is so filling and delicious. Everything including the bread is made from scratch. I definitely come back here! Very nice and welcoming staff!

Ordered from Grubhub and this has to be one of the worst take-out meals we’ve had here in Cville. Not only did our side order of $5 hummus come with ONLY a half of a pita, but the shawarma wraps were completely lacking. My “chicken” shawarma had 5 pieces of frozen chicken strips and more sauce/pickles than anything else. The beef- don’t get me started. One of the members of our party lived in Lebanon for a year and can honestly say this is the FARTHEST thing from Lebanese food one could order. Don’t waste your time nor money.

Exceptional quality food & great portions! I haven’t had a bad meal & if there is a problem, they’re happy to fix it. The whole restaurant smells amazing!! You can watch the bread cooked right in front of you. The staff can help you navigate the menu if you don’t know what you’ll like, but it’s pretty self-explanatory.
