Fantastic tacos! The chef actually fills your tacos so they are very filling. It’s not very often a chicken taco joints have such moist chicken. We will definitely be coming back. Plus a great little outdoor patio to enjoy. They also had at least one vegan option on the menu.

Gorgeous locale. The menu is full and complete with traditional Mexican classics. Customer service is on point. This place should be packed and I hope it does one day. It’s a little tucked away right off Beltline and Knapp. The salsa verde had great taste and is mild for those with a weaker spice pállate. The light green one might make you shed a tear if you’re not used to that level of spice. The free salsa with chips reminds me of the homemade salsa my friends mom makes. Has the right balance between cilantro, salt and tomato. You can tell they have dedicated a lot of time into the details.

This place is surprisingly awesome. With a large number of taquerias emerging many seem the same. Tia is different, the menu is well rounded, the San Diego / Tijuana vibe is spot on, they are the ONLY place in town with the queso taco shell, pablano taco, and several other items. Luis was more than kind and generous. My only complaint would be the loudness of the kitchen exhaust fan. Authentic tastes and cultural environment in every detail.

My wife and I decided to check out Tia Juana tonight for the first time and we really enjoyed it! Friendly and helpful staff, quick service, and very clean. Best of all, the food was great! Tacos were the closest to authentic that I have had in awhile. I love tacos with onions and cilantro and a lime for flavor!!

Hands down the best tacos in GR…quite possibly the best food in GR. The flavors are incredible. You can taste the authenticity and love in each bite. We had the quesabirria tacos with the consomé, asada tacos, and the California burrito. I’ll dream about the food until we come back again, which will probably very, very soon.

Ordered takeout. The quesabirria is delicious. I ordered the meal of it and sadly didn’t receive the rice and beans that were supposed to come with it. Normally I check my takeout orders before I leave, but didn’t this time (bit me in the butt).

Great food! Great tacos! The BEST Azada tacos in town for sure. This is the most authentic Mexican tacos you can have here in Grand Rapids. Their Quesabirrias are so delicious ❤️ Choriqueso Dip is great with chips. The “Mulitas” are so fast also. I definitely recommend this place. The staff is so kind and friendly, so polite. You can’t never go wrong with it. The only downside of that place is the location as it’s parking lot is kind of limited, just a few vehicles but it sure is worth going there!

Best tacos I have ever had. They are authentic and made just like the ones in Mexico. If you love how tacos are made in Mexico, then you will love these tacos at Tia Juana Tacos. Highly recommend if you enjoy authentic style tacos and an atmosphere of Mexico. Just awesome we have such great food like this in Grand Rapids!
