The place was very busy when we went but fortunately we only needed a small table, so we were sat immediately. Julian was out server and he was awesome. Attentive, friendly and quick to check if we needed anything. The food was really good, the only complaint I would have is my fish taco didn’t have very big pieces of fish. Otherwise, everything was good.

I think they have fixed the service issue. Our server was friendly and very attentive. We started with the dip Sampler then my husband had the taco salad and had beef fajitas. All was very good. I also tried the new watermelon Red Bull margarita….YUMMY!

Party of 6: lunch time: Overall we had an amazing time. Our waitress was super friendly. The food was good. I had the supreme nachos which was loaded with all the fixings plus super cheesy goodness. I had 2 old fashions they were made just the way I like them.

The chicken tacos were good! They were packed with chicken and pico. The bread pudding was delicious too however there’s raisins in it so be aware. Fast and attentive service!

Everything from the food to the atmosphere exceeded our expectations. We ordered the house margaritas, fried shrimp, and a dozen half shell oysters and a dozen grilled oysters (the ones with lump crab were possibly the best grilled we’ve ever had). It was so good we came back on our way out of town. I’m surprised this place “only” has a 4.8!

Tia Juanita’s fish camp and oven grill is a fantastic diner located on state highway TX-87, en route to crystal beach via state highway tx 61. We tried the 4 jumbo shrimp with 3 fish basket, and the blackened fish, and both were delicious. The waiter who served us was courteous and friendly, and the place has a 60’s retro diner style decor.
