Place was nice, definitely wanted to try it for their taco special on Tuesday, it turns out price went up from $30 to $40 but it was definitely worth it. Carnitas & al pastor were the best ones. Ceviche was refreshing. Sangria was delicious, not too strong. I wish the waiter would have checked on us more, I had to hunt her down for drink refills but other then that service was great. Would definitely come back, I still want to try their birria tacos.

The chips and salsa were good. Guacamole and Mojito down the street (make a left out of the lot) are better. Our family was unimpressed by the food. The chicken fingers were breaded cutlets. Service was nice. Restaurant was fairly empty but so is the other place. Table was sticky and the vinyl in the booth was peeling. It would have been very uncomfortable for anyone wearing shorts to sit there. We won’t be visiting again.

My husband and I have been trying different places in the area on Friday nights in my quest for the perfect margarita. This spot has a fantastic coconut margarita. I usually go for the regular ones, but the coconut caught my eye, and I’m glad I indulged. DELICIOUS!

Some reviews claim that this place is “authentic”, however, that’s not even close. They (the restaurant) must assume that most people don’t know any better. There are far better places than this one. The food here is mediocre at best. There is another location on Rt. 6, near the lake, that in my opinion, is far superior than this place, but I’ll leave that up to other reviewers. I won’t disclose what took place during our experience, but I will state that it was my second time coming here in quite some time because other reviews have made claim how good they are. I’m sorry to say this but, those that have made such a claim, are incorrect, and even may not have had the experience of good, true Mexican cuisine. However, in time, you’ll discover that this place can not hold a candle to others. I don’t want to come to a restaurant to drop $100+ and not get what I was expecting due to the claim of other reviewers. This restaurant needs to step their game up, especially for what they’re charging. I had a few tequilas, straight up, and they charged me $15 each. GTFOH!!!! I could have bought the whole bottle for just under $40. You want to hit me with $10, I get it, but $15!?!?! Things are not getting any better out here, and places like this take the joy of going out. To other patrons, choose wisely!! For those that like to get ripped off, and have ok food at best; knock yourself out!! It’s your buck, not mine.

Pricey but the food is decent. This place is a good place if you don’t want to go to a food truck or a fancy restaurant. It is right in the middle. Staff are family and multilingual. Drink or not bad but not the best. This is kids friendly not pet friendly.
