Tijuana Flats is a fantastic place to grab a meal. The food is hot and fresh, and the chips are seasoned to perfection. The Thursday $7.99 special is unbeatable, making it an ideal spot for a mid-week lunch or dinner. We got there before the Florida rain and enjoyed the outside patio until the rain storm came.

Amazing texmex..pulled chicken was juicy. Could have used some seasonings. Atoms were fire and the queso was as well. Extremely fast and nice service. Highly recommend.

a great tex-max fast-food chain with a wide variety of menu options that include tacos, burritos, flautas, nachos, wings, and more. i also appreciate that they have a variety of protein options too. the portions are generous so any meal is super filling. the chips are seasoned so they’re better than most fast-food tortilla chips. in my opinion, they also have the best queso! the atmosphere in here is unlike any other chain restaurant- there are fun murals on every wall, painted ceiling tiles, and pictures of celebrities at the different TFlats locations. there’s also a hot sauce bar with about a dozen, creatively-named sauces to pair with whatever meal you get. the staff is friendly and the service is quick, and both indoor and outdoor seating available.

My family and I were on vacation and ended up here after our original restaurant choice was beyond packed out, but let me say, I’m extremely glad we ended up here instead. The atmosphere is so relaxed, and the food is great. Both my wife and my daughter are picky eaters, and even they loved their food. I had the cheesy steak flautas, my wife had a chicken quesadilla, and my daughter had refried bean nachos, and it all tasted so delicious and fresh. And the prices are really affordable, unlike most places in the area. Above all, the staff is extremely friendly and polite and patient. If you’re vacationing in Orlando, make sure you eat here!

Average to below average rating for this visit. Having previously lived in Florida, had very good memories of eating there (albeit, the Altamonte location). Wasn’t horrible, but didn’t quite live up to what I remembered, not much flavor at all. Service seemed to be really good as they were greeting people and interacting. I even heard one of the servers offer another person a drink while they were waiting on their party to arrive. One minor exception to the service though as there were no cups for the hot sauce bar. Asked about it and by the time the cups were refilled, my burrito was eaten. The side was chips and a small cup of salsa. Would’ve like something a little than a very small cup of salsa to go with all the chips. For the entrée, I tried the Tinga burrito. The flour tortilla burrito wrap was cold. Seemed like something you had for leftovers verses just ordered. Needless to say, just wasn’t what I had hoped.

Tim and Chanice (sp?) we’re working and they could not have been better at their craft. We came in as a work group of ten. They took their time with us, excellent manners, and genuine fans of their product. Excellent experience for all involved. Myself especially. Try the Mofo’en Insane sauce. It’ll take you to another plane of existence.

Well, we asked for tacos that were saggy and almost had no protein. The price could be right if the food was better. No real Mexican taste, more like Anerican.

This is one of those places that I’m continually confused why it gets so much love while being so incredibly “meh” every time I give it a try. I love Mexican food, but I love Mexican food that has some built in flavor. Unfortunately almost every menu item I’ve had at any Tijuana Flats location has almost no flavor unless you load it up with hot sauce. I personally prefer flavor over “hot and spicy” so by skipping the hot sauce bar I end up with incredibly bland Mexican food.
