Tilly Janes did not disappoint on Mother’s Day! Made my reservation in Google assistant for a party of six the day before for a mid-morning Mother’s Day Breakfast. We arrived there 5 min before and was promptly and courteously greeted and shown to our table. Coffee was offered and it was hot and strong! Breakfast was delicious and all in our party were very satisfied and stuffed! Highly recommend the veggie omelette or the French toast with fresh fruit! Service was prompt and the atmosphere was pleasant and low key. A few families with kids and everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals. Highly recommend Tilly Janes for your next Hood River breakfast outing!

OMG. We entered about 3 pm on a weekday and their were only a very few customers. Should have been our first clue. We were sat after a wait for so few people there. First thing we were told is they had NO DAILY LUNCH SPECIAL. The chef didnt show up. Are you kidding me? No real soda, just RC, Mr. Pibb, ect. We had water.

Great service and breakfast was so good! I loved the avocado toast and my kid cleared him plate of scrambled eggs We all had to steal a bite of my husband’s biscuits and gravy too. Definitely will come back and enjoy breakfast here again in the future.

Food was delicious, had fish and chips, my husband had a pound of chicken wings in two different flavors. Only thing that was an issue is ordered a bloody Mary and then was told they were totally out of bloody Mary mix. . .a bummer

Whatever server worked on 5/6 didn’t have a single ounce of hospitality in her. We came here hungry and knowing what we wanted, so we sat at the table and waited for the server. Server came over and asked if we wanted drinks and we gave our drink order and said that we were also ready to order. She said and I quote “I have to go take another tables order who came in before you, so you will get your drinks and then I’ll come back for your order, that’s how it works.” I was a server for 10 years and between that and dining at restaurants, I’ve never told anyone or been told I can’t put my order in not only that but the server left our table and started running food and greeting customers. She didn’t take anyone else’s order. That immediately off put the mood and we left to find another place. (Bette’s place in hood river – highly recommend.)

The Tilly’s team extends a warm and welcoming space to our whole community. I adored their soundtrack and found myself grooving along as I sipped my 22oz juicy beer. Tilly’s is a treasure and I’m grateful that they are so passionate about creating a delightful gathering space in the gorge.
