The food was great. Our server, Jenna, was also very friendly and accommodating. She could have, however, warned us that the kitchen was backed up. Not only did it take 55 minutes for our food to arrive, but two of the four plates were cold.

The chef seems like the hardest working person there. I’m sure the location keeps them busy. Some staff were really nice some seemed like working was a inconvenience. It’s a beautiful place. I got a salad it was good. Drinks were good.

Location, location, location. Just off interstate 85 And overlooking lake heart well it’s just a wonderful location. When we were there,? However, they didn’t have enough help in the kitchen and we had to wait a very long time to get a table and our food.

When the waitresses are wearing a jacket, it should tell you how freezing this place is! It makes sense why there’s an hour long waiting time to sit outside after 30 minutes from open but the inside is almost empty. We ordered the wings, pain killers, crab, and brisket hoagie. The wings didn’t have a lot of sauce, but they were really juicy. The drinks alone would be the reason we’d come back as they were fantastic! The crab was hot and flavorful while the hoagie was a bit dry.

We made a mistake by waiting to come here! There’s a great panoramic view of the lake, whether inside or outside. It’s right on the lake where boats can dock. The inside seating area was very cold, but fortunately, the Painkiller (alcoholic bev) kept us warm, and the food came out hot. My wife and I split wings, she had crab, and I had a brisket hoagie with sidewinder fries. We’re making this our go-to spot.

Although it was difficult to get to at night while it was raining, it was worth the trouble. The service was fantastic; our waitress was very attentive. I got the sirloin with grits and potatoes. While the potatoes and grits were great, the sirloin was amazing! It was cooked perfectly and tasted far better than what I was used to having. I would not mind driving through the rain to get here again.

The food is fairly decent. But the cleanliness of the whole place is left to be desired. All the door handles and windows had hand prints and smears all over. Black grime and build up everywhere. Restaurant floors look like they aren’t moped regularly. The washroom’s look like they have never been cleaned. Kind of turned off of the place since noticing how scummy the place looks. Could be a real gem if it was cleaner. Hate to leave this review.
