The perk of staying at the Palms was having this restaurant in walking distance. We wanted something quick and light on our stomachs and we’re glad we tried this restaurant. A lot of free parking and it’s very bright and spacious. Service was good. We tried the chicken dumplings. They were simple but good. I enjoyed the steamed rice roll with bbq pork. The texture was like noodles and I felt like they put a lot of pork in the dish. I was satisfied with the portion and flavor.

Good atmosphere, good customer service, unfortunately the food wasn’t what I expected. The turnip cake was too soaky and wet as if it had been reheated, the same goes for the Pork RR. The Siu Mai was also a bit too oily, and finally the taro sago had too little taro in it ;however the pork with rice and the pork bun was okay. Overall it was just a bit disappointing

Tim Ho Wan was a treat! Their baked pork buns are to die for. I’ve never had a pork bun with a cookie top but I don’t know if I can eat another pork bun differently again. The rest of the sim sim was great. The won ton soup could have had more flavor. It is a bit pricey but the experience was worth it.

The spicy sauce with these was so good, you have to make sure to scoop up as much as you can with each dumpling. Looks almost as good as the picture on the placemats but tastes even better than looks. Had been here long when they opened and this one dish stands out more than any before

Excellent. Spacious, vibrant, and clean place. Ordered the steamed dumplings with shrimp and chives, the wonton noodle soup, and the pan fried chicken dumplings with ginger essence. It was all high quality, tasty food served hot in generous portions. The wonton soup was meal enough for two. Service was fabulous. I have never had any one check, let alone refill, my hot tea anywhere. The server refilled my hot tea twice with me asking. Superb value and quality at an inexpensive price. I will definitely go back.

Attention all Dumpling lovers. This spot inside the Palms Casino offers an array of steamed dumplings ranging from Dumplings With Shrimp and Chives, Shrimp, and Pork In Spicy Sauce. The shrimp dumplings had great flavor and were steamed perfectly. However, the Wonton soup was a bit bland and lacked flavor. The dining area was very clean as were the tables which were neatly arranged. If there was one criticism, it would pertain to the service. It was slower than I would have expected. The restaurant wasn’t crowded, yet my server was less than attentive. With that said, overall, the food was good and I’ll probably go back.

My 5 stars are for Kenny, our server. He was kind, patient with my questions about their menu items and checked on our table often. He kept our drinks full and his over all energy was lovely. Hope to see him again.
