For those who are wanting a great bird’s-eye view of the city, you can’t get any better than atop this mountain. However, with a $49 price tag for using the gondola, it was certainly not worth that much, only because I didn’t eat at the restaurant, and the vast majority of the items at the gift shop were very over-priced. Of course, this is to be expected at any tourist trap. There is a trail that supposedly leads down to the bottom, but I didn’t have the time nor the endurance to take that hike. I will say that the tram operator was super friendly and welcoming. His intro was comical, and he explained that he was actually the mechanic, but he was asked to be the operator due to a lack of workers. (Was that part of the humour, maybe?) Depending on the time of day, you could either get a clear view, or a cloudy view. Because of the height of the mountain, the top is usually above the cloud line.

The most amazing views from up top! The crab nachos were very well topped and tasted awesome. Beer and the view was my happy place!

You take a tram to the top of the mountain and from there you can see most of Juneau. The view is awesome and a great place for pictures. The food was ok but you go there primarily for the view. It’s highly recommended

We went to the bar here and enjoyed local craft beers and tater tots. Seth was amazing, and Angela was super sweet. They told us about the drinks, the area, and had helpful recommendations. I’d give the service 6 stars if I could.

We probably wouldn’t have even thought about this place, but a friend got us tickets. So we went and this place was amazing! The tram ride to the top was breath taking, and once on top, the views were amazing. We walked around then visited the restaurant for a bite to eat and a beer and they also have a nice gift shop and it is all reasonably priced!

The view is amazing and food isn’t too expensive for the venue. It was a bit slow in getting the food, but the view is amazing.

Rode the tram up to Mount Roberts and enjoy the view of the town below. Saw a few eagles flying. Visited the gift shops. There is a walking trail and a couple of restaurants at the top.
