I had family visiting from out of state, all craving good seafood, I decided to take them here. In any seafood restaurants I usually base my perception of the place based on how well their Calimari is. I’ve been to many seafood restaurants all over MD, and none have served Calimari well, this place nailed it. Lightly battered for flakiness and very tender squid. The Jumbo shrimp is truly jumbo, most places provide x-lrg shrimp as jumbo, but this place has huge jumbo shrimps. Their main point is the crab cakes and burgers. They are huge and flavorful. I believe in paying a good amount for great food and this place hits it on all points and price is well worth it. I’ll be bringing all of my friends.

Met a friend here for lunch. I’ve been several times but it was her first visit. We both ordered the calamari appetizer. She had a small Ceasar salad and I ordered the seafood Cobb salad. The calamari (large portions) was delicious! I devoured mine before I thought to take a pic (but here’s what’s left of hers). Here’s my seafood Cobb salad (wish I hadn’t added the dressing before taking the pic). The salad was packed with HUGE shrimp and jumbo backfin crab meat! It was so large I had to bring most of it home. It made 2 meals!! My friend was so impressed with the food she got an order if calamari to go!! I’m putting Timbuktu back in rotation!!

My family and I met here for dinner since my nephew will be attending HOWARD this fall. Food was great service came with comedy unexpected ZACH. that’s all I’m going to say. We loved the ginormus CRAB CAKE no fillers.

Staff courteous, professional and friendly. Food was excellent and portions good. Crab cakes are very good, no fillers just fresh crab!! Steaks juicy and tender. Food was cooked as requested. Worth the wait and cost. A must visit if in the area.

Stopped here on the way back from a road trip to camp in VA and I was not disappointed in the slightest. There were so many options but I highly recommend the crab soup, which was super rich and amazing.

I got the fried seafood platter and my wife got the seafood chapin. The fish tasted very unseasoned and oily. I Would’ve been better of eating Gordons fisherman. The shrimp was the same. The broccoli and the salad were the best. The seafood chapin was one of the grossest concoctions I’ve eaten in a while. Its literally mayonnaise, gummy seafood drowning in melted butter. The crab cake i had was okay more filling than i would like but ok.
