I had a great experience at Timmy Hot Chicken! The food was delicious, and I can understand why some reviewers may have felt that the seasoning lacked depth, as it seemed to be primarily on the surface of the chicken. My partner and I visited this place twice together, and we enjoyed our first visit so much that we decided to make the two-hour trip again, despite living far away.

I googled the best fried chicken in Winston and this placed popped up. Definitely not the best Fried Chicken! It was very bland, no flavor. I was not happy about it. $17 for wings and fries down the drain. The 1 ⭐️ was rated based off of the chicken and nothing else. Great location and nice set up, the young lady that served me was great. I asked about the plates on the wall and learned that if you eat the 3 Hell Fire wing in 10 minutes or less you get to decorate a plate and add to the wall of fame which was pretty cool . I probably won’t go back ♀️. I have to admit the chicken at least smelled and looked appetizing.

I finally had Timmy’s tonight with my two brothers after hearing the hype. I love fried chicken and if it comes with a little heat, it’s all the better and far as I’m concerned. Timmy’s is excellent. If you are a fan of the Nashville hot style chicken you can’t go wrong here. I ordered the 3 tenders meal with fries and collard greens. The chicken was awesome and had great balanced flavor. The collards might be the best I’ve ever had anywhere. They had a meaty onion and vinegar flavor that I really dug. The fries were crispy and seasoned well. I tried a piece of my brothers “Timmy” chicken sandwich and it will definitely be what I try next time. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves spicy chicken.

THE BEST CHICKEN EVER. My husband and I visited the city for a conference—grabbed a quick lunch the first day & on the second day came back & brought friends. We recommended this place to so many people. The food was seriously so fresh and delicious and every server was incredibly kind! CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH. We will seriously go out of our way to stop here every time we’re going through town.

Excellent hole in the wall chicken sandwich joint. The quality of chicken is exceptional and the buns are delicious. I will warn you though, that this place is HOT. So when you select HOT off their menu you had better be ready for it.

I thought the chicken was flavorful. The sides were great, the greens were vinegary, not really my thing, but my wife loved them. Mac and cheese was on point. the got the hot level chicken, didn’t feel any burn, but again it was tasty. I may jump to the hottest level next time, there is also a challenge for you spicelords out there. the ranch and blue cheese were on point, felt homemade that’s a plus. Oh and don’t forget the banana pudding, truly magnificent.

We had the chicken and waffles and a Timmy Sandwich with a side of fries. Everything was delicious! We got ours spiced at HOT, and it was a true statement! But itt was not to bad. Honestly it reminded me alot of KFC nashville hot chicken.m, but Spicer.

A good buddy of mine has pestered me for months to go try out Timmy’s Hot Chicken. Finally, I went and gave it a try. It’s not the cheapest chicken lol but it’s definitely worth the money. The chicken and waffles are on point. The macaroni and cheese was pretty tasty as well! I would recommend giving them a chance. Especially, is you like it spicy and HOT!

Dreaded Dinosaur
Timmy’s was right next to the convention center so I ran out to grab dinner to go! They have 4 levels of spice. I got tenders in Hot which is their medium entry. Very tasty and the creamy coleslaw was amazing!
