Dined at the Tin Angel last night before the Billy Porter Concert. It could not have been better. Sat on the new patio which was great. There were four of us. We had the asparagus feta appetizer to share, the soup special, salads with chicken and one person had the Dijon chicken. All the food was wonderful. Fresh, perfect presentation and delicious. But the highlight was dessert! The pecan pie was wonderful. Crust to die for! And the bread pudding with homemade caramel sauce may be the best I have ever had, and I’ve ordered bread pudding around the world. Can’t recommend Tin Angel highly enough but be sure to make a reservation. They fill up quickly and are only open on nights when there is a show at the Eccles.

The food was delightful. I got the spinach soup. It was very light and had great flavor and texture. The duck tacos were yummy. The steak salad is his favorite dish anywhere. This was the best steak salad he has ever had. Price to quality ratio is great. We left with a $58 tab. We spend that much at other places and have had less satisfying food. The creme brulee tart was yummy.

Needless to say, their presentation is excellent. For a restaurant that calls itself a Cafe the quality of the food was great, their special was a NY Strip that was cooked and seasoned well with good sides and a small portion of Lobster meat! The duck confiet over risotto was also quite good. I would highly recommend the iced black mint tea and their “famous” bread pudding, both were delicious.

Excellent food and service here. Make a reservation because they aren’t open very many hours but it’s perfect for before a show. They will make sure you’re ready to go with enough time to get to your seats. Very fun! We got the asparagus soup and gnocchi. Both wonderful. And started with the Brie. Would recommend all three. Will go here before every show we see at the Eccles!

Eclectic, fun, nice patio and tasty creative food! Cantaloupe, mint cold ‘soup’, very delicious! What a great find, hiding in plain sight. And the service….impeccable!

Food was so bland and boring and such a let down. It was basically cold by the time it got out to us. They definitely should not be charging $25+ for such lame plates.

I love to find little gems in a city. Tin Angel food and service was excellent set in a European style decor and local art. I love Italy and the food and I’m a Gnocchi freak so if I see it on the menu I usually want to try it. The Gnocchi was served in a creamy gorgonzola sauce. It was a perfect cheesey blend and not too strong of a gorgonzola taste. Try the creamy panna cotta for dessert. See pics. The owner came up and said hi and was very welcoming.

The food and dessert at Tin Angel were delicious! I lowered the rating a little bit because parking was difficult – I recommend finding a parking garage nearby. The pecan pie was warm and deliciously paired with some vanilla ice cream. This was a perfect sharable dessert!

The portions were a bit small for the price/quality. The service was phenomenal. Very attentive, kept water full, super friendly, great recommendations.

Fantastic dining experience. Our server (Hayley?) was the bee’s knees. Friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. I had the duck salad, and I only wish I’d ordered two because it was so good. My wife had the penne with meatballs and they were great, too. Entrees are a little pricey, but you’ll definitely leave satisfied.
