Arrived on a Friday fish fry special at 6pn. Was seated at 640 pm. Our order was taken 28 mins later . Glad the bartenders were quick when we arrived. There was a nice seating area outside to wait for a table. I really was expecting an outstanding meal with how busy the place was. The plating was beautiful. That’s where it ended. The shrimp was over cooked. The vegetables were undercooked. My man was not overly impressed with the cod. I am a new resident to Union Grove. This was my first impression. I won’t be returning.

We were looking for somewhere we’d never visited before. This was about 15 minutes from our house. Friendly and attentive staff. Saturday was steak day, and to top it off you didn’t have to wait until 5 PM to order! He was able to enjoy prime rib at lunch! I had a chicken sandwich made to order. We defiently plan to be back. We were extremely happy with the food, service, and atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Typical Midwest bar/pub in regards to atmosphere; bar dice, pull tabs, darts. Very friendly staff, service with a smile. Food was average, though the fried chicken took a while to cook and was a bit dry. Would come back and order something else.

Let me preface – I don’t post reviews often: this joint had the BEST ribs I’ve had in a long time. Fall of the bone and the spicy BBQ was the way to go. Will be back next week for their Sunday rib special.

Tori was our wonderful waitress. She is one of the best. We were indecisive, and she dealt very well with us!! I certainly hope the owners/ management know what a gem they have. She promotes the restaurant and their products VERY well!!

Staff is pleasant and polite. Food is awesome and the burgers and blackened walleye are simply the best. There’s a reason why our group of retirees eat there every single week! Check it out, you will not be disappointed!

We stopped in for the fish fry and we were not disappointed. It was served hot, crispy and fresh. And the potato pancakes were outstanding. It was very busy but the wait was reasonable and the service was really good.
