It’s a very interesting and unique Cafe that serves great food for brunch. The workers there are awesome and super helpful. The only reason I did not give the five stars is because it’s a little packed inside but it gives it a homey feeling.

Quite possibly the best Reuben sandwich in the state of Alaska. If you had to classify this place, I’d say it’s a deli/sandwich shop combined with a breakfast barista stand that makes great sandwiches and a killer cup of coffee.

Her salads are way too small and she’s expensive! Chili is very watery! Lexi’s cafe which is on the other side of the highway makes me a massive salad for half the price! Lexi’s soups are better lobster bisque and split pea! Their chili is better! Eat at lexi’s cafe their number one! Tinkers lost my business for good!

Just moved to Alaska, and needed some lunch. Coworker recommended Tinkers for sandwiches. Quirky little shop, with fun decor and hodgepodge tables. Can make any sandwich from their list of ingredients or choose a favorite or special. Went with the Club and a cup of tomato basil soup. Super fresh and delicious. Friendly fun staff were super nice, and good cleaning practices in place. Will definitely come here again when I’m in Eagle River

I’ll never know how good the food is, because they were closed. Protip, when you guys are thinking about what an inconvenience it is to update your hours on Google, etc. consider also the inconvenience your customers experience when they drive 40 minutes to do business with you only to be greeted by a post-it note that says sorry, tough luck.

We have lived locally for a few years but wanted to try a new place, and we hit the jackpot! The food is all freshly made when you order it and the staff are all very wonderful. The food was great tasting and there was a friendly atmosphere with some merch to buy and books you can read while you eat. Highly recommend it, and I can’t wait to go back.
