Small, dark, crowded. The servers were very nice and polite, how’ve the food was Luke warm when served to us. We had to request that our meals were remade completely. It was hot enough even we fly it again, but pretty bland.

Worst pork verde. Very sour. No depth like it wasn’t made from scratch. Small portion. My brother had a relleno burrito. He said it was pretty good. Mom had a Cadillac margarita. Said it was terrible. Really sweet. Couldn’t taste any tequila. She asked for another shot and they brought her a dark bottom shelf shot. Disappointed.

OMG! I have been wishing I could find some good authentic Mexican food. Since moving to Oregon I have been look and looking. Well today I stumbled upon a little hidden gem of a restaurant named Tio Pepe. I am originally from southern CA. Latin cuisine is everywhere and authentic. I am so glad that I decided to try Tio Pepe’s even though I have been very disappointed by the typical Mexican fare in the area. If you want great authentic food, don’t walk, run to this amazing establishment, you won’t regret it.

Mother’s day my sister and son came in to eat. They were seated, given chips. Not one person gave them water, asked what they wanted to order and after quite awhile they sadly left! There were 3 people they could see bringing others food, and not all tables full. So not understaffed. Horrible Mother’s Day experience to anticipate such a special day with high hopes and be treated so shabbily and unnecessarily. What was the problem?????
