Went here for Sunday night dinner with my mom and oldest son. All the food was amazing! My mom ordered a taco salad, my son got a burrito supreme, and I tried a new dish that started with a B … pregnant memory can’t remember the name… it was three corn tortilla with the Mexican beef inside that tasted like a delicious steak…was mouth watering… did not origionally come with sour cream… but I got some and dipped them in there and enjoyed them that way! You can eat outside or inside and for all my drinkers out there… they have a bar also 😉 Highly recommend you try them out!

Went in for the first time today and man was this place awesome! Let’s just start off with how clean the restaurant is and how cool the decor is! We sat at the bar and had great service by the two bartenders! We started out with the chips and traditional salsa, the chips were light and crispy and the salsa was a good dose of spicy! We ordered the bang bang shrimp tacos, the El Grande taco ( my favorite) and the Greek taco. All of which were rich in flavor! The sauce on the bang bang tacos was delicious and the blend of flavors on the El Grande made it my favorite for sure! We finished our meal off with dessert, Churros! Sooo good but we could not eat it all!

First time eating at Tipsy Taco. The decor is great. The music playing is awesome, I just wish some of the music was Spanish. The food was fantastic. My only complaint is the salsa with the chips. The spicy salsa needs some tlc. The spicy salsa barely had any kick to it. I’m picky on salsa, though, with the wife being Hispanic, so maybe I’m just spoiled. The meal, though, was on point. Our waiter was great. He said it was his first day, but you wouldn’t be able to tell. Over good experience and will probably come back again. Just be prepared for the prices, lol.

I ordered from here from DoorDash. I ordered the grilled chicken quesadilla, the chips and salsa, and the mexican rice. When I received my bag, I looked in the chip box and there was an EMPTY guacamole cup that only had a ring of guacamole at the bottom—it looked like something someone had eaten out of and was gonna throw away into the trash. First of all, I didn’t order guacamole, and it could’ve been an honest mistake, but how they let the gross container just sit in there and didn’t bother to remove it was pretty disconcerting. The quesadilla was lukewarm, looked NOTHING like the photos on DoorDash, and tasted bland and like it was made from very cheap ingredients. Not to mention, they entirely failed to include the rice at all. The salsa was the only decent thing, but overall I was disappointed to have spent nearly $30 on food that looked almost inedible and tasted so disappointing.

Food is always good, so is the service. Nice tequila and drink selection as well. I dig the Chicken Philly and Cabo Wabo tacos. Centinela is my go to on the tequila menu.

I think this restaurant is more of a “hang out”. It’s not a typical Mexican restaurant as you are not served chips and salsa (it’s an appetizer on the menu), the 90’s music with volume on the higher side and the lack of true spices/seasonings. It’s not a bad place but you should know the “scene” is different.

Here for happy hour on a Wednesday, a little slow but nothing horrible. Sat at the bar. Tequila selection was great. Loved the Espolon Anejo and the Corralejo. Food was good, not amazing but be sure you order some sides because the tacos are a la carte. I would go here again but might need to eat before I go next time.

Went out for a Taco Tuesday treat this afternoon (7/11/2023 5pm’ish). Ordered a frozen margarita, that I have had in the past, and it was absolutely undrinkable. Tasted like pure unsweetened lemonade concentrate. Talked to my waitress about it and we tried adding additional syrup, but ultimately it didn’t help. It was undrinkable, and for $14 it certainly seems like something that should have been corrected. I asked to have the manager remove it as I couldn’t drink it. The manager refused, claiming all sales were final on drinks. No attempt on her part to even try and remedy the solution, even after warning her that we would never be back. She still didn’t seem to care about retaining us as customers. It was pure theft in my book. Shame we liked going there, but never again. I will tell everyone I know to avoid this establishment. I hope whoever owns this place takes a long hard look at their management team, because they are driving your business into the ground.
