Little did I know a food truck located behind a gas station would cook up some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. From their signature garnished, potato-filled taquitos to the delicate, soft & sweet Tres Leches Cake, everything they serve is simply wonderful. Portions were bigger than I expected. And because it’s made-to-order, you can really taste the freshness of their food. Great vibes and friendly service as well. The employees just seemed like they were having fun making fresh, delicious food.

Been trying to eat here a couple times but I do have an on call job and the hours prevented me a couple times and they even sold out once. Despite all that I tried it finally and it was well worth it! I tried their citrus braised pork taquitos (wish they were a bit more citrusy) they were by far the tastiest taquitos I have ever had. I have also tried their tres leches cake with fresh berries twice both times the flavor was great and the berries were picked with care. Both dishes had wonderful presentation and fresh ingredients. I took a peak in and their kitchen was pretty darn spotless. 10/10 would eat here again. Both dishes were quite delicious. They are relatively new and do sell out.

Must try Mexican food truck by the 76 gas station. I didn’t know anything about taquitos until trying theirs, with the crispy cylindrical shell filled well seasoned potatoes , and then topped with a meat of your choice. The taco is the star for us with the unusually thick corn tortilla which is so tasty and stable in holding onto all the fillings you choose. We love the braised beef, citrus pork, fried fish, and garlic butter shrimp toppings! Vegan options available and the mushroom asada is so so flavorful with hints of mole? We still have yet to try their shredded chicken on our next trip as well as their tres leches cake. 2 sauces to choose from and the salsa Verde is our go-to as the 2 others hurt too much but go for them if you can handle the heat.

Best birria tacos i have ever had. Scratch that, best tacos ive ever had. No doubt worth almost 4 bucks per taco. Sent my co worker with cash to get tacos. Wish i had made the drive now.

Incredibly kind people running an amazing, hole-in-the-wall taco spot; the food was some of the best I’ve had outside of Mexico, and it will now be the first place I mention to anyone asking for street food recs. Solid 10/10

Highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed. This place is the real deal. The food here is from scratch and is made fresh to order. This isn’t like most other places you go to for a quick Mexican meal. This food is cooked to order, for you, by real chefs who know this cuisine. Tortillas for the tacos are made to order as well. So after you order, take a seat on their covered deck and prepare yourself for the deliciousness that is about to come.

This is really interesting food, it has the authentic traditional Mexican flavour with a new mix of ingredients like the Hawaiian style pork, the aguas frescas are really good, this is my favorite place to eat tacos in Portland, as a Mexican I can tell.
