It pains me to write this, however this far from the level of quality that I have grown to know and love from TJ’s! The fries and the fish are over cooked and taste of burnt grease. I literally drove across town because I can usually depend on TJ’s for a great meal. Sadly, today I was disappointed. Now I have to go spend more money on a lunch I can actually eat!

I swear this place has the best fish sandwich I’ve ever had. You get the choice of adding ketchup, hot sauce, mustard, onion and pickle. I always add ketchup, hot sauce and onion on my catfish sandwich. They also have whiting fish sandwiches and they taste just as good. The restaurant is drive through and they only accept cash. Service is great the lady is always patient and kind. Food is cooked to order, please prepare to wait for about 15min.

Had a crispy whiting fish sandwich,came with onions, mustard and hot sauce. Delicious! And huge. It’s a drive thru so I couldn’t rate the atmosphere. Service was great.

When you want it hot and fresh and delicious don’t go anywhere else. Ba bro and his wife provide an extensive menu of options for any palette. Be prepared to be satisfied and full. Highly recommend this to locals and tourists alike!

My husband and I tried TJ’s for the first time & to say the least it was a disappointing experience. I’m from Birmingham, Alabama & one thing I know for sure is the catfish they sale isn’t real catfish, it’s Swai fish. A lot of the Chinese restaurants serve this fish. I think it’s awful that you’re a black restaurant & selling imitation catfish/ swai due to it being cheaper. The fish is awful tasting and fishy. I have been eating catfish all my life & I do know the difference. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to this establishment. If you aren’t going to sale catfish at least put Swai fish on your menu so people can have the option to not buy. Definitely not worth the hype of being #1 fish sandwhich in Nashville… Don’t waste your $$$$!!!!
