Glad we stopped here for lunch. Sandwiches very tasty. Club was particularly good if huge! Ask them not to add mayo so you can take half home for lunch tomorrow! Or share with your partner! Largest drinks I’ve ever seen! Server was friendly and nice. Good decoration.

Came for breakfast with my elderly Aunt. She ordered her favorite breakfast dish: 1-1-1. I decided to go with the diced ham w/ scrambled eggs & a side of green chili. We both ordered the biscuit & gravy dish. Our order came out, we slowly savored our food. Somewhere along the way, our waitress took our biscuit & gravy dishes! We hadn’t hardly touched it. Sadly she never returned to our table to get our payment. Nor were we able to have the dish removed from our bill. While I took a few bites of the b&g dish, I was raving to my elderly Aunt about how good it tasted. Unfortunately I was not able to continue with the dish. We hope to return & we will put our plates towards the wall to avoid food being removed from our table. For 2 people we paid around thirty dollars.

Took my mom to eat today after Dr. Appt. I asked to sit by an outlet to plug in her oxygen machine since it was almost dead. Waitress looked said no seats were avail near an outlet. I noticed an empty family booth that had an outlet, so I asked waitress she looked displease and reluctantly said it’s reserved for a party of 6, but she’d ask. Yes she tells me. So we go to the booth and the outlet looked plugged and didn’t work, so I asked again. She told me that when a gentleman left his seat we could sit there. I figured different section different waitress. Sure enough a different waitress brought our food. I got green chili instead of red, I tried to let waitress know, but they kept walking by us and ignored us. Finally after sometime another waitress noticed I needed more tea so she brought me some… Other than that not one waitress checked on us or got us refills or anything. The nice waitress that got me tea said she was the assistant manager. I had told her the problem, she spoke with management and we got an $8 discount. Which I was thankful for, but I’m not sure I’m satisfied with that, I just think it was very unacceptable. I believe her name was Denise, made me feel so much better just for the fact that she got me tea without me asking, listen to my complaint, and did something about it. So to her I’m thankful and great full. Food was great like always, I don’t know if waitress get reprimanded or not but these ones today need to be.

Food was decent, our server was very helpful when she came around but I don’t feel it was enough for my needs. (I drink a lot of coffee and my cup kept going dry.). Serving portions are more than what you pay for though. If your looking for. Hearty home cooking that will last. This is a great place.

Stopped here on the first leg of our very long road trip. The billboards about bacon are what made us look up the restaurant and decided to stop based on the reviews. Our server was super friendly. The food was quick to come out and very tasty. I had The Heep (pictured) and my husband at the Huevos Rancheros.
