I just got an enchilada plate. I felt like it was way too much sauce. It was kinda spicy too which isn’t bad. Rice was delicious. Beans were ok. Waiter was on top of it with everything though. I do wish they gave us more chips to go along with our food.

My daughter had a game against Valencia high school, which is just up the road from Tlaquepaque. I haven’t been there for years. It wasn’t too crowded on a Friday night. The waitstaff was thin but so welcoming. We had a good selection. Mole de la casa, Chile relleno, burritos, and fish tacos. Most everyone was happy (my son’s first experience with a wet burrito). He is still deciding. The cucumber jalepeno mixed drink was excellent. A fun evening our for dinner. And the building had such character.
