I went with a friend an I loved this place. The Wings an sauce are amazing. The owners are great people. Make you feel right at home. The locals an regulars made you feel same. 4/30/2023. Living in the neighborhood, we decided Hoops would be a good choice for a quick late night beer and snack. My girlfriend and I walked from our home approximately 0.7 miles away incase we had one or two too many. When we arrived we saw a crude makeshift sign, appearing to have been written in crayon reading “35 & up”. Feeling unwelcome due to being 28, we turn around and made the walk home highly disappointed. I’m glad a local establishment is thriving to well it is able to be age exclusive and age discriminative. I wish the website would have reflected the exclusiveness of the bar as to save myself the trek.

This is a small, local bar that is playing sports on a few TV’s which I guess makes it a sports bar. But give it a chance. The owner was extremely nice and yet was bantering with the locals like a salty sailor. The wings were surprisingly good, their house sauce was spicy and tangy. And the locals were also friendly. This is not a chain place, but if you want a beer and good wings this is the place to go.

Possibly one of the the best bars I’ve ever been! The owner is extremely friendly and is an immediate friend. Drinks are fair priced and the food is high quality bar food, that just feels like it was made with care and on the spot. To the Hoop feels like a warm place where you get o spend time with the people who matter in your life. I’ll be back many many times!

I like the people and the atmosphere is very friendly. I was overwhelming surprised on how much I was welcomed as an outsider. Definitely a place to go to just sit and relax and no one bothers you or you can be as social as you want. Monday night is karaoke and wednesday nights is 2 step night.
