Okay, when we arrived for brunch, we were told there would be a 20-minute wait. Cool! We were seated sooner but not served until 15 minutes later. Our waitress was nice but not very attentive. We ordered drinks and was ready to order when they came back. We ordered the beignets as w starter and our meals.

Delicious breakfast! Wife and I both enjoyed our omelets. Nice menu with lots of choices. Service was very friendly. No outdoor seating that I saw but indoor seating is nicer than we expected. Coffee was good and always full!

Randomly stopped here while traveling and what a perfect brunch spot it was! Had the Monte Cristo sandwich that was on the special along with some home fries. Food was delicious and my waitress was professional and courteous and brought out some extra home fries because my order didn’t look like it had enough! I didn’t ask, but I also didn’t complain! Drink menu looked encompassing and the atmosphere was bright and comfortable. Would return.

Tried grits for the first time ever here and I loved them! I enjoyed the biscuit breakfast sandwich and the rainbow cake! Egg was a bit cold but I wasn’t bothered by it.

Sophie was our server and she did a great job of taking care of us. Whatever they are paying her it needs to be more. The host, Alex, got us quickly seated and took care of us also.

Ugh. How this Toast gets more than 1 star, I don’t know. Asked for a set up 3 times, finally had to go to hostess station and get myself. Food came out long after people at next tables and we ordered before they arrived (they had to eat their eggs with their fingers as they were told there was no more clean silverware in the restaurant). Our order was wrong. Ordered fried eggs..received VERY DRY scrambled eggs. And the worst corned beef hash we’ve EVER had. NOT edible. And if that’s not bad enough..ordered my second mimosa..that was wrong also. Lastly, when the waitress asks if you are done with your meal, please take the plates. Don’t leave them for the next 20 minutes until you bring the bill. They also forgot the to-go order we placed. This place is a train wreck! Btw: Grits were delicious tho!

Traveling from Maryland, stopped at Mt Pleasant for some brunch. Restaurant would of gotten a 5 star if it wasn’t for the rude server who raised her voice at me and my family assuming we moved a chair to our 2 table hightop table when actually the hostees did after i asked if or was allowed and she came back with a chair. The waitress claimed she is loud like that, but my party wasn’t believing that. We was then moved to a 4 person table & thank God cause our waitress SUMMER was AMAZING. So nice, attentive and friendly. The food & mimosas was amazing. Fried green tomatoes, Shrimp n grits & flounder and Hawaiian mimosas.

I visited Toast Mt Pleasant with my sister a few weeks ago on our way out of town. On a Saturday. We were able to get in very quickly, the service was great and the food was great. I will definitely plan to visit this restaurant again when I am in the area as it is a great place dine!

Delicious food and drinks all around! I stopped here on my move down the coast and so happy I did! My blue crab omelette and mimosa were just what I needed to fuel up and oh so good. The icing on the cake was the great service received from Lexie. She was quick, efficient, and pointed me in the right direction with my order. Southern hospitality does exist! Thanks Lexie!
