Stopped in after reading the google reviews. Husband ordered the grilled beef banh mi, super juicy and the lemongrass flavor was on point. I had the grilled pork. Also delicious, tasted some hints of cinnamon or another kind of warm spice. Busy but service was quick. Space was bright, but tables were kind of dirty.

Grilled beef was pretty good. I got extra sauce it honestly didn’t taste like much. Wished it had more flavor.

What a gem! I’ve walked by this place several times, and finally decided to stop in for a quick takeout lunch. Except for their AC being turned on way too cold, the staff were super friendly, and they dealt with an onslaught of customers efficiently, The food is absolutely amazing and there’s a lot of it for the price. I ordered the combo rice bowl with the egg, chicken, and pork. It’s enough for two meals for me, which was a pleasant surprise, considering how high takeout food prices are these days.

This place is ultimately clean. Service is fast and friendly. If you want something different in Tacoma this place is it. Located in a nice neighborhood shopping area you’ll find a simple menu that is easy to choose from. Pictures on the wall of the banh mi sandwiches are helpful as well as appetizing. I chose The Imperial City banh mi and was pleased with my choice. There are vegetarian options as well. Enjoy!

The pork, the steak banh mi and the bowls were all pretty good. Its like a vietnamese version of Chipotle. You get to pick your own favorites. I would not order their drinks though. The drink itself is $6. You pay an extra $1 for them to take out the ice. You’d probably expect them to fill up the cup but instead they decide to leave the space so you’re really paying $7 for a 75% filled drink. I don’t appreciate this business practice at all.

Randomly looking for a lunch spot I came across Toast Mi and tried it out. I have been back multiple times. A fun and quick fix to get a great Bahn Mi. They are delicious!

This is a great find. Located in Proctor district, close to Starbucks but entrance is in the back parking lot. Very tasty bahn mi and bowls. Really liked the pork bahn mi. Also had a boba tea. Prices are good for what you get… Service is quick and helpful. Definitely ask to have the sandwich cut in half when you order.

Before the Greenlake location opened, I regularly came to this location all the way from Issaquah, best banh Mi worth traveling for! Please open a location eastside!

In a time where Subway sandwiches and setting you back $10 or more, finding a sub place that will sell you a 8in sub for 7.50 is no small feat. Oh and tasty to boot. The pork and chicken bon mi were well done and filling. The milk boba teas were pretty good. My only complaint, and it’s not worth a star is the place is small with limited seating. Not the end of the world but you may want to take your sandwiches and go.
