Tocolo Cantina serves refined, modern Mexican food in a friendly, high-service, and casual atmosphere. The restaurant space was designed to merge the modern elements of a California eatery with those of a Mexican cantina to create a warm and inviting feel. It is fit with encaustic tile, copper walls, a lively bar in the center of the room, and a hydraulic garage door that forms an outdoor canopy when opened. We aim to provide the best Modern Mexican dining experience on Long Island.

We decided to stop by late last night and were pleasantly surprised by the efficient service and delicious food. To kick off our meal, we ordered guacamole, queso fundido, and nachos, and all of them were fantastic. Both my wife and I went for the steak fajitas, which turned out to be really tasty, and the steak itself was wonderfully tender. We also enjoyed the virgin Margaritas, which were quite good. All things considered, this is definitely a place worth trying out.

Came here around 6pm on a Saturday. We were seated, and warm nachos with salsa were brought to our table within the minute. I don’t remember his name, but our server was wonderful. He checked up on us several times, and made excellent food and drink recommendations. We ended up getting the overloaded nachos, Baja fish and birria tacos, along with the hibiscus margarita. The food was fresh and delicious! The margarita was STRONG! The service was top notch here! Thank you for the great experience! Will definitely be coming back!

Came here for dinner on a Monday evening with a reservation, but definitely didn’t need one. I got their chocolate Chile old fashioned to start which was delicious, and I can be a little snobby about a cheaply made old fashioned, so this one passes the test. The complimentary salsa and chips are good, and were only elevated by the guac that we got with it, the classico, but I was tempted to go with the yucateco. We got the carnitas burrito, which was tasty albeit a little messy to eat with the sauces on top, the chicken tortilla soup, which even on a warm day was still good, and a side of yucca fries which comes with an incredible dipping sauce. Portions are generous and for the price feels like a great deal for what we got. Staff was very friendly, just wish they came to refill water a little more often. Ambiance is nice, and a cute spot for a date or just a nice dinner where you actually can hear the people you’re with! Parking in the shared lot in front is pretty ample but it can fill up pretty quick with all the stores around.

Great location and great customer service. Went for dinner last night and it’s been on my bucket list to attend. You have the option to eat indoor and outdoor. The food is great and the food isn’t far behind it, I mean it’s amazing point blank. I would say it’s over priced Mexican food but that’s you to decide. We ordered a fajita for 2 and 1 kids quesadilla and the birria tacos “ appetizer” and 2 sodas and 1 virgin piña colada for $106 plus tip.

I sat at the bar and Phoebe was an amazing bar tender. She treats you like family and you can see that people love her because of how many of them that weren’t even sitting at the bar said goodbye before they left. I ate tortilla soup which was very good. It wasn’t over salted which is an issue that you can run into. There was a good amount of avocado in the soup and I enjoyed it. I also had birria tacos, rice & beans and yucca fries. Excellent is the only word that I can come up with to describe everything that I ate. I will definitely return. Thank you Phoebe!

A great little place in the Gallery Strip Mall in Westbury. Quality Mexican food. The drinks were fresh and strong. The chips are warm, thick and crunchy. Homemade salsa. Good sized portions. Nice looking bar too.
